Lets be real here
The Biggest Perk Problems with this game all come from the Halloween Chapter.
Specifically Laurie Strodes Perks:
DS- Nerfed and Reworked into Oblivion. But When released was absurdly Jumbo WOMBO.
OoO- Powerful perk for swf. AS WELL AS the bane of all stealth killers. Now this perk is finally being looked into because of GhostFace.
Sole Survivor- I'm surprised this perk wasn't abused, I like to use it and I think it's not used much because of the requirements to have most teammates dead so there's almost no point because if they're all dead, you most likely will be too. In all honesty, THIS PERK SHOULD BE UPDATED, ESPECIALLY WHEN CONCERNING ENDGAME COLLAPSE.
So let's just be honest here, the real villian of this game is not Michael myers. It's Laurie.
Just throw the whole Laurie Strode away.

Not sure how serious this thread is...Because perks change as the state of the game changes? They're being looked at because they are old and outdated?
Sole survivor is completely useless though, always has been, probably will be for a long time to come, as it is with some perks. OoO is legitimately only used for toxicity anyway and should never have worked on stealth killers in the first place (all of the situations i.e. pig while crouched, ghost while night shroud and myers while tier 1, wraith is a wildcard there but he should technically be immune while cloaked too especially since he has a shimmer and decloak reduced speed without addons)
I personally didn't mind old DS (I know strange opinion) the only thing I hated was the surprise not the obsession mid carry DS generally while I was mid basement stairs. Anyway it's in a better place for the game now anyway. First edition MoM was worse to me but each to their own.
Also I like Laurie, how dare. (Don't like her alternate hair though, that we can agree on)

"Were" they were OP. DS certainly was, OoO while not OP promoted gameplay that is disgusting to me and with SS....well...it tried.

I may be biased but I feel like that chapter specifically is why the game is where it's at now. She was the first to give Survivors a way to use aura perks aggressively, and DS.

My God, someone seriously convinced you that OoO is the "second most powerful perk for experienced players"?
Seriously, no one even complained about OoO hurting stealth killers before Ghostface dropped. I bet you couldn't even find ONE thread that complained about a stealth killer player having a balance complaint about OoO before GF's drop.

DS, MoM, Borrowed Time, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, Flashlights, absurd Pallet/Window loops are the real overpowered survivor gear.
For killers it is:
Also OoO is overpowered when used in a SWF. (Wraith, Michael etc. are getting cucked)
Basically because you can't beat a "skilled" SWF without using nurse.
So it just shows your location all the time to the survivor, while you actually can't get them.
The devs totally misinterpretate the killer's actual power.

Yeah, this is a good point, purely because rarely anyone ran it except those few toxic squads, however I did see a few threads complaining about it's use in SWF groups in general, not specifically with stealth killers (because as I said it's a rare perk choice and anyone who does use it solo typically gets destroyed when there are better perks for killer aura reads/detection i.e. spine chill or alert for example)
