Devs what were you smoking when you added pallet VFX?
WHO THE ######### ASKED FOR THIS? All it does is give headaches to people, what are your ideas behind these? I don't care about ghost face, but can you remove that effect please nobody wanted?

I don't agree with the harsh wording, but yes. I'm very disappointed that this effect made it to the live game, despite so many people explaining what a bad idea it is when the PTB was live.

@lindenis VFX = visual effect
They added a red flash as a visual effect when you get stunned by a pallet. It gives a lot of people headaches.

Who knows? And now that they've sunk dev resources into designing it, we're going to have to bludgeon through a lot of internal politics to get it removed. We're sorry you sunk resources into designing a stupid thing that nobody asked for that also happens to make a lot of people uncomfortable and sick, but that's your problem. Don't make it ours.

I did write that a bit harsh I admit after reading they kept in headache inducing red flashes on my screen

I'm so sad people hate this. I'm really enjoying all the little effects they're adding to stuff.

The same thing when they "fixed" the flashlight and pallet stuns during the Year of the Dog Lunar Event.
Fixes no one asked for, no one needed, and deliberately breaks something that was just fine.
If you couldn't tell you were stunned when you saw the pallet drop, heard the pallet drop, you heard the killer groan, you stared at the ground, and you couldn't move a red flash of light certainly wasn't going to help you.
REMOVE IT It's unnecessary, redundant and obnoxious.

This little effect causes headaches and strains the eye. For a some people it is inducing motion sickness and triggering migraines if you play for while. Flashing red lights tend to do that when you're experiencing them in first person.

I get the same nausea feeling I used to get playing nurse in regular ps4.

I get headaches from this, I doubt it going anywhere though with the track record of bad ideas staying in game.

You have got to be kidding me.....we already have little Survivor shits flashlighting us at every pallet break...we,don't need a pre-flash visual to go with the incoming flashlight blinding VFX.....

@Nikkiwhat Unfortunately not kidding. I just don't understand why this effect had to be implemented. Killers know already that they have been stunned. This effect doesn't add to the game, it just makes me feel unwell.
