Is the anniversary event just the new offering?
Just asking to make sure I haven’t missed something.

As far as I can tell, yes. Just the offering and the firecracker.

so much for the big anniversary....two weeks of grinding for one offering

I was expecting an event, like we had in the past, with bonus for the hooks and generators, but it's just an offering and an item. Not even any new clothes to collect. Seems very week for the anniversary.

You're complaining about the very same offering that is guaranteed at least one every new blood-web for Killer. I have 20 so far on my Freddy alone, it has more to offer than you think.
Months of grinding, can be shortened by this, and the offerings can still be used, even after the event is over.

wouldn't even mind if they used one of the leaked cosmetics like the feng, Dwight, wraith or huntress that would've been really fun and made people grind and actually do gens and work together and the killing hook for points

I never saw them announce a major event in the first place, so I'm not that disappointed. I still don't know where this idea of a major event came from. Unless it was that statement trying to appease the playerbase for only releasing a paragraph as a chapter saying that they would have a lot more planned for the 3rd anniversary. But I think that was just a reference to that large effort stream rather than anything the players wanted.

It isn't guaranteed you get one per bloodweb. Only got 16 on ghostface from 1-50.

I've gotten one every Blood-web so that's a first to me.
Regardless, its still useful to shorten weeks even months of grinding.

Weeks? Months? Using 50 of those things is probably like 4 days of solid gameplay. How many of these do you think we are getting? They show up once every 5-6 bloodwebs.
