Is Prestige Worth it?

So as a Level 50 Laurie Strode I had these:

  • 18 Perks
  • 76 Offerings
  • 59 Items
  • & 109 Addons

When I Prestiged when i had 1,000,000 Bloodpoints (P1 Level 37) Here's what i ended up with:

  • 22 Perks
  • 81 Offerings
  • 52 Items
  • & 96 Addons.

When I Prestiged again (P2 Level 36) This is what I sadly only got:

  • 16 Perks
  • 71 Offerings
  • 49 Items
  • & 95 Addons

So let me answer the above question... "Is Prestige Worth it?"

Yes, IF you prestige once. If you prestige again you have a harder chance of getting good loot/bloodwebs.

So P1 is worth it. P2... Not so much.. lol

It’s random tho. I have had super nice p2 experiences (Kate for example) where I got all super nice perks right away, and awful experiences (Feng) where I can have a decent build and I’m already past lvl50

Not worth it. Unless you really want the bloody clothing look badly.

I don't think it's worth especially with all of the perks a player would have to get back even after level 50. Some players wouldn't even be using the skins that much if they prefer a different one from the shop.

Unless you want achievements and some bloody clothing, I don't consider prestiging worth it.

Unless you just want bragging rights for accomplishing p3 and you want the bloody clothes (especially for claudette like I did), it's not really worth it.

He increase drop rates for killers i mean each bloodweb i get the insta saw combo add-ons. Gives you bloody clothing. i would recommand but it's a long grind.

Listing the amount of perks, offerings, addons, and items doesn't really have anything to do with the benefits advertised for prestiging. Prestige benefits were advertised as increases in rarities, not amounts. But now that you did list the number of perks you got, I'm forced to ask.

How the hell did you manage to have 4 more perks at level 37 than at level 50, and then manage to have 6 less perks at level 36 than level 37? Are you not including tiers?

    @Dehitay

He is not including Tiers most likely.

And this is something that does not make any sense. If I have more different Perks, this does not mean that it is better.

I can have 20 Perks, or 21 Perks, when this one Perk is Deja-Vu. But with 20 Perks, I also might be able to have one Perk on a higher Tier, which might be better.

So the total amount of Perks is not really something that is worth mentioning.

Prestiging in general is not worth, unless you want the Cosmetics.

Not in the least. It's not like the outfits are rare or even really remarkable (Claudette aside... ahem). Unless you honestly have nothing else to do with bloodpoints (or just really got a crappy hand dealt with perks leading up to 50), it's really not worth it. Losing all the add-ons and offerings you've built up, all the time spent... c'mon now.

And, 100% honest, I've not noticed a difference in the amount of rares or extra rares I've had available in the web through the characters I've leveled. Maybe there is and I've just got a humdrum RNG throughout, but if it's happened I haven't found it noticeable (although I barely play any add-ons or offerings beyond BP boosts, so it's not something I'd strive for, anyway).

Maybe if you had a seriously favorite survivor or killer and/or feel like a total completionist, then go ahead. Otherwise, I'm hard passing on prestiging anybody else (although that's open to reconsideration if something's ever done about the current status of the insane grind).

It's a hard question, it's not worth it in the means that you don't get any advantages. It's the same whether you're 50, or p3-50. You just lose tons of bloodpoints.

But there's a different reason and that's if you like a specific character.

I for example have Dwight, Claudette p3-50 full perked and now working to get Feng there. I only bother prestiging characters I like. Dwight is my main, Claudette is a meme and I like her voice plus she's tiny and easy to hide with, I'm also a weeb so I like Feng. I wouldn't bother prestiging Adam, Kate, Meg etc cause I don't like them that much.

Also if you want the bloody cosmetics, sure it is.
