Max Wraith to unlock Predator perk teachable and try to get it for Spirit. Works wonders on her because scratch marks are all you can see of Survivors.
Also now that sounds have been fixed, use your ears a bit more and listen for footsteps and breathing. Crank your volume up a bit as well.
You can fake out Yamaoka’s Haunting at loops. Just stand completely still and watch, see what the Survivor does, and play accordingly. If they abandon the loop, phase after them.
That’s pretty much all I can personally say. Good luck.

Thanks! I did the fakeout at a loop and had someone jump into my arms.

The thing with Predator is that you can't see scratch marks from a distance. So while it might be a tad easier to track someone following right behind them you will often miss survivors just running around.
Stridor is superior because survivors can hide auras, they can hide scratch marks, they can hide from crows, but they can't hide cries of pain. It trumps Iron Will so you will still hear them even if they have that perk.
You need to be unpredictable while predicting what survivors will do. If you see a survivor running to a jungle gym chances are they will go for the window, so you will want to circle around and catch them on the other side as they vault.
If you see a survivor it's sometimes a good idea to pretend like you did NOT see them, then use phase walk to jump scare them. A lot of times if you scare survivors they panic and make mistakes, which means they are easier to catch.
Learn to watch and listen for crows. They will often give away survivor positions because 99% of survivors don't do anything to avoid crows. Also watch for grass moving, as this is a sign a survivor is hiding in the grass.

I am that 99% 😂

First of all, @Poweas @Blueberry
My advice? Don't run Stridor. It'll screw you over more than it'll help. M1 Survivors then chase after them in your phase. They're real easy to track when injured.
Edit: Best add-ons are YA, WS, PB, DU, KT. Only use MDR if you're using Russian Roulette Spirit and Gen Protector Spirit.

Russian Roulette?

The only confusing thing with Stridor is that it expands the area in which survivors' injury sounds are audible, so it can sometimes make you think that the survivor is right in front of you when they're not really near you. You can get used to it after a couple of games. But in general Stridor is absolutely worth perk slot. And yeah, it counters Iron Will in a way.

RR Spirit is when you have Haunted Grounds, TOTH, Ruin, and DH.

Tracks will get you in the general direction, but sound and predicting survivor movement is like 90% of your tracking. Get good headphones.
You can get a lot of downs by fake phasing as well. Most people do it at the pallet, but there's times that I know they're watching for me to stop moving mid chase for a phase, so I'll just stop moving mid run and they'll start walking back into me. You have to get in their heads and know what they're seeing and thinking.
I highly recommend BBQ and MYC. They are godly on her. Then I typically run Ruin for slow down. The fourth perk is up to you, I've personally really started liking PGTW since its buff.

I dont have MyC unlocked i think. But i do have BBq just waiting for her bloodweb to be generous

BBQ will keep giving you a direction to go after every hook. I usually end up just ping pong from hook to down, hook to down using BBQ. Super good even if you don't have MYC yet. I just like MYC because I leave every hook and when I see a save it makes it so it won't matter who I run into first. That also means I can be nice and down the rescuer if I have the option without being punished on pressure as you normally would if you were trying to be nice and not tunnel the saved guy.

Predator is the training wheel for spirit. Once you are familiar and get better in tracking, predator should be changed into other better perks

Yeah i can see that. I just spent 90k to get pig. From 38 to 40 for MYC. Hopefully now ill get that and BBQ Asap

Its so i can have the scratches more bundled up right?

You'll get conflicting opinions on Stridor.
My two cents as someone who has spent the last 5 years working in the automotive field and worked as a musician for years before that: it comes down to how good your hearing is and personal preference. I'm not great at locating sounds IRL
For me, Stridor helps me pinpoint survivor sounds a lot better. . Especially when they try to double back. It will greatly help you track them when they aren't injured because it amplifies normal breathing.
Also, survivor audio levels vary from survivor to survivor and also vary from map to map. Stridor ensures acceptable audio levels at all times.

I dont use stridor due to the fact i dont have working headphones. Im a very sight based killer atm

My favourite build on spirit is:
Nurse's, sloppy, bbq and hex ruin, an overall good build

Stridor beats Iron Will which is the main reason you want it. It also let's you track a survivor from a full tile away. They can't hide from your phase walk if you run Stridor. If you don't you will eventually get survivors with Iron Will that hide from you very well and having just 1 really good survivor with Iron Will can cost you the game. I know because I run Iron Will (and Spine Chill) and I am the bane of every Spirit player I play against. I bait them into a chase and they spend so much time on me compared to everyone else.
You just have to keep in mind that they will sound closer than they are. Once you get used to that, Stridor is undeniably the best perk for Spirit. You can't hide from it, and it will reveal injured survivors from such a distance it's almost like Nurse's without them even needing to heal.

The problem with this build is that when you get really good survivors that don't heal, rush gens, and proc Adren, NC and Sloppy both end up being wasted perks. Sure it will help in like 90% of games where survivors are not very smart and spend ages healing themselves but you will lose to the really good survivors consistently.
This is why I stopped using Sloppy because it's worthless against SWF Adren groups. You need perks that offer more tangible effects to beat them.

Everyone has completely nailed the advice I had in mind, @Masantonio but @MegMain98 will be more help than me.

Yes, I play only yellow/green ranks. I don't want to deal with rushers so yes you are right

Here are my tips:
- Don't use Predator because you won't be able to see scratch marks on walls or other structures and they will be pretty hard to see in tall grass.
- I personally don't like Stridor because it makes me get out of phase waaay before I can hit the survivor and so I don't recommend it.
- When phase walking look out for moving grass/corn, crows and most importantly: LISTEN. Steps, breathing, moans of pain, grass moving, all that stuff. Because of this, I suggest you get a pair of headphones. I can do just fine with some pretty cheap ones so don't worry about getting something too crazy.
- Nurse's Calling is SO GOOD on her, you can get a lot of momentum with it. At Tier 2, the range is just as big as her terror radius and so survivors won't hear the whooshing.
- BBQ is great too because you can phase walk to the next survivor and keep applying pressure.
- Other perks: Ruin, Thanatophobia, Thrill of The Hunt, Haunted Grounds, Devour Hope, Sloppy Butcher, Save The Best For Last, Make Your Choice, Surveillance, Enduring (if you get hit by a lot of pallets), Corrupt Intervention and Discordance.
- My build at the moment: BBQ, Ruin, Nurse's Calling and Sloppy Butcher.
- Recommended Add-ons (in order): Prayer Beads, Yakuyoke Amulet, charge speed, recovery speed, movement speed, duration increase, out-of-phase speed and duration and lastly, passive phasing. Mother Daughter Ring is only good for Gen Grabber builds in my opinion. I have mixed feelings about Father's Glasses, but I'd say it's pretty good.
- The first games are gonna be hard; be patient and learn how and when to use her power. She's hard to learn, so don't get mad if you don't do great immediately.
- With the Spirit, it's more about predictions than chasing. Instead of always following the scratch marks, think of where the survivor will go to cut them off quickly.
-Iron Will is a big counter to Spirit so, if you don't hear any sounds when someone's injured, follow the scratch marks or chase the survivor normally.
- During phase you can walk into a survivor. If you feel like you've bumped into something invisible, get out of phase because it's most likely a survivor. (I caught a Claudette hiding in corn with this, so it's pretty useful lol).
- At pallets, phase under the pallet: survivors can't pull it down when you're catching up to them because your husk is blocking it.
Right now I can't think of anything else lol. I hope I helped, even just a bit.
