What's up, red rank players?

So, after a couple of months of not playing that regularly, I finally made it back to red ranks today, and geez... I feel like deranking, because really, the amount of toxicity and lack of sportsmanship you find there is amazing.

Survivors won't save you, they would rather go and harrass the killer with their flashlights. They will even fast vault right next to you while repairing a gen, just because.

Killers camping, tunneling and, I would have to confirm this, lag-switching.

I had a blast while in the purple-green ranks. Survivors tried to work harder as a group and solo, they tried to help in any kind of way. Now I'm waiting in a lobby and 3 people join at once and I know it's gonna suck for me, and for the killer, because SWF groups usually leave the random to die or sacrifice them so as not to get caught themselves. I've had my share of p3 Megs and Dwights running towards me when the killer is after them. I've had my share of people failing a skillcheck when they're healing me to run away and teabag at me when the killer finds me and hooks me. I've had my share of being teleported back to the killer's arms when I was safely running away (or so I thought).

So this makes me wonder... is the game losing people because it's "bad" or are we people tired of the people we play with that ruin the experience for the rest?
