Bannable?
Sooo I’ve been using thanatophobia and legion’s double blade add-ons for the past five games to try the “what are gens” build without knowing there was yet another bug with the blade add-ons and even thanatophobia. Didn’t find out until checking the forums after someone telling me I was exploiting and reporting me as well as all his swf buddies (even though they were all rocking wake up cough) and I’m pretty sure I’ve been reported in the other games but not totally sure. Just wondering if any of that is bannable.

If it is RIP me as well. I had no idea Thana/The blades were doing anything different until a saw a survivor matrix vault a few games later.

Stop using them immediately. That exploit for legion has been bannable for months.
As well - don't compare the bug with wake up to the legion exploit. It doesn't even compare. Not that wake up isn't broken, but it's not on the level of the Legion exploit.

This is a different bug that was just introduced days ago that slows action speeds.
You're referring to the one from the plague patch that was fixed that made mends minutes long.

Its literally the same bug but opposites! Legion slows speeds wake up increases!

Again, not comparable. Currently at rank 2, and I didn't even notice it until someone told me. Even then, I'm mowing over survivors.

I knew about the old legion blades and I also knew they fixed it so I used them again. However I didn’t know they got bugged yet again after the recent update.

This is partly false. It was a different bug that was bannable. The devs have made no statement regarding this one. However, exploiting has always been bannable, so if you find anyone exploiting - killer or survivor - be sure to report them.

@Paladin_Goo Explain how an exploit that increases action speeds and an exploit that decreases by the same amounts are not comparable to eachother.
Thanataphobias bug and Wake up are not comparable.
Legion blades and Wake up are the same thing but for the opposite role.

I guess you aren’t aware about what we’re talking about? Wake up is a flat 15% boost to everything, the blades lower it by the same amount (iirc). Please explain how these are different, bugs are bugs.

What the add-ons and thanathobia have right now? Everytime you hit survivors they become more lower?

@Milordo Thana makes skill checks disappear, Legion decreases all actions including vaults/unhooks by roughly 15-20%
Idk if its an every hit stacks thing i stopped using them after i realized what was happening.

I think you're talking about a diffrent exploit. @Paladin_Goo
The old double knife exploit was that mending would increase each time you got hit.
This time around a single knife decreases all actions.

Can someone explain me what exploit is abusing Legion? It's not the old one with mending increasing, so what's now?

I hate how the devs dont even communicate it. They just let you find it out yourself and ban you when you use it.

Nobody did get a ban, which it's stupid as hell, but you know what? Now that i know every bug and exploit of this patch, it's hilarious as hell.
Guys.... the game created 2 bugs who balanced together. Guys, the game balanced itself.

Legion blades are bugged? But not In kyf?
We tested it yesterday. In kyf the blades do NOT stack mend times like the last bug.
Edit: apparently they slow survivors. Oof.

@Carpemortum Different bug this time. This time the blades slow down survivor action speed. They basically are bugged and end-up cancelling out the Wake-Up action speed buff bug.
It's hilarious that unintended bugs do a better job of balancing things out in DBD than the dev team does. I swear, more and more I question why I still have this game installed. Its patches are more of a mess than a Hi-Rez game patch, and that's a feat.

I love how ppl are arguing against bans, with the excuse of "The exploit IM doing isn't as big as the exploit someone else did". The severity of the exploit has nothing to do with the fact that you're using an exploit to gain an unfair advantage. The blades and Thana exploits, I can see ppl doing this on accident since those are fairly commonly used items. Once you find out it's bugged, cease using them. Wake up though went from a perk being used by like 1% of survivors to being Meta due to this bug.

I find if the bug makes it a Meta perk that means its exploited hard core. An exploit used on Purpose a specific amount of times SHOULD be banned no matter "how comparable it is to another" an ungair advantage os unfair no matter the degree it is.

I even just had one where I couldnt wiggle. Not just the bar being Mia, but wiggling did nothing at all.

Atm, I'm just wondering how many bugs are still unfound. Could be bugs on stuff no one ever uses, like Monstous Shrine might be sacrificing ppl as soon as they hit struggle phase, and no one would know.
