Some small EGC changes for killers to balance the game.
Trapper: half of his traps will be unavailable/destroyed when the last gen pops.
Wraith: No longer gains speed boost in stealth when all gens pop.
Hillbilly: Charge time is now twice as long during EGC
Nurse: Nurse can only one blink when all gens pop
Michael Myers: Micheal has no more shorter heartbeat in tier 1 and 2 and no longer lunge in tier 3
Hag: Hag can only place 5 traps instead of 10 during EGC.
Huntress: Huntress has a amx of 3 hatchets during EGC.
Doctor: Being shocked no longer blocks survivors from vaulting or throwing pallets when the last gen pops.
Leatherface: Chainsaw can only hit one person during EGC.
Freddy: Time to fall asleep is now increased by 5seconds during EGC.
Clown: Clown only has 2 bottles during EGC.
Spirit: Spirit has normal movement speed while phasing after all gens pop.
Legion: Feral Frenzy no longer shows auras of other survivors during EGC.
Plague: Plague needs to puke twice as much on survivors to break them when all gens pop.
Ghostface: Increased stalking time to mark survivors by 2 seconds suring EGC.
You see, killing a killers power when all gens pop isn't so fun when it is your main. Why would it be fair for Pig. There were many other ways to change it, but we had to go for a kill didn't we?

Good lord are we still complaining about that? Her power is designed to extend the trial while gens are unfinished, not to be abused for a free unavoidable endgame kill.

I am. I still find it to be a bad change, I feel that there was a considerably way better way to go about it, I feel it's crazy that she didn't get any buffs to compensate given that she is a weak Killer (IMO), and I am not going to let it go.

The Pig change was reasonable. EGC should not give any Killer any Benefit, the Main Purpose is to push people out once the Gates are open. Some Perks got buffed, but Pig was changed because you should not get easy Kills just by putting Traps on people in Endgame. And well, according to the Devs, saving the Traps until the End was not intended anyway, it is intended that Pig is using the Traps midgame to keep people off Gens.

The same one I've parroted repeatedly: Pause the Endgame Collapse Timer as long as someone is wearing a Reverse Bear Trap (also, make sure the timers auto-start only when all the generators are powered, not after the Hatch is closed).

This argument always bothers me because it always assumes that the people arguing against the change always saves Traps until the Endgame while seemingly ignoring the scenarios where the Pig lost a number of her Traps due to unlucky Jigsaw Box RNG + speedy gens.
(also, don't suppose you have a source on that statement from the devs?)

The Pig "nerf" did nothing to change her power level. The traps are meant to slow down the game, not secure kills. The only reason the traps even kill survivors is because if they don't then why would survivors even take them off in the first place?
And if you still want to play endgame pig, just trap at 1 gen.

Disagree. If the Pig is the same in the early game, the same in the midgame, and worse in the endgame, I say it lowered her power level.
Also playing Endgame Pig at 1 gen is a bad idea because if that 1 gen pops, your unused Traps become wasted.

You're under no obligation to do so, but for what it is worth, I actually do care because I remember being in a very long argument with someone else about this around the time the Pig was nerfed.

My Pig is P3 and my secondary main, the nerf really didn't do much to her play style in my opinion

I main Little Miss Amanda Piggy. I don't rely on her traps for my kills. They're just extra points to me and the occasional head pop for a kill and not a sacrifice. IMO, if you want to be a skilled killer then you should not rely on EGC and you should have your sacrifices or your traps used before that happens.
Just change your style of play (maybe your perks) and aim to get the kills/sacrifices before EGC starts and stop using it as a crutch like I used to before the nerf. The change has forced me to be a better killer.

I also main Pig, and I don't rely on my traps for kills or deliberately play with an Endgame play style in mind, but that does not stop me from thinking that this has made a weak Killer weaker.

Not completely accurate. What about the killers who deliberately block the gates at the end JUST so that EGC can complete the kill for them? That bugs me to no end! Just sacrifice me already so that I can start a new match.
If EVERYONE would stop trying to rub their victory in either the killer's or survivor's faces then there would be fewer people with hurt feelings.

The problem is, you cant get good,
because the devs delete some playstyles and killers doesnt have much freedom.
As example pig:
- they delete endgame pig
If the survivors only need 1 gen, then you MUST use the RBT.
Without the nerf, you could make a choice.
But with this nerf, you must use them.

@TAG It's just another example of the Devs forcing their playstyle on us when we as the people who get passionate about certain Killers should be able to play in different ways. Yeah every Killer has a power that's for a certain thing but we're human beings and we play the way we want to and that's why we don't use Ambush. To hell with using the ability the way it's meant to, we use what's given to us in the best way we can, don't punish us for experimenting and finding better uses.

How do killers block the gates at the end? There's 2 gates and they're freaking huge. It would take all 16 killers to fully block them both. Sure, you could block the gate switches themselves with 2 killers, but fun fact: There's an entirely different problem if 2 killers are in the game.

I agree that killing Pig's power during EGC is awful and lazy. They should have (and still should) come up with something more creative so that she can still use her RBT during EGC. For example, make it so that during EGC every single Jigsaw box will get the trap off but maybe slow down the time it takes to get it off a bit. This way her trap's aren't completely useless nor are they "OP." As it stands though, an already weak killer has been made much weaker unnecessarily because of lazy devs.

So basically what you're saying is "hey here's a little buff for the survivors because you know, end game collapses is meant for Killers but let's still give the survivors some sort of power roll, even at the end!"

We don't need your horrible "balance suggestions" almost all killers are garbadge but you still want to nerf them even though survivors are in the power role my mind just boggles from how dull survivor mains are.

I've heard people say this and I don't doubt that somebody on the team said something along these lines but it still doesn't make sense. If it was never meant to be a thing why would they make the beeping noise steadily increase in speed as you neared the exit gates and then pop your head? Or in other words they wouldn't have made it possible if it wasn't intended. Maybe the intention wasn't for it to be solely relied upon but it was definitely meant to be an option.

As somebody who ran and game piggy a lot I can tell you that it really wasn't something that you could have used to get free kills unless you were stupidly going after the people specifically had traps.
In which case you might as well have just camp them.
They made for great pressure tool because meant you could focus on the survivors who didn't have traps on without having to worry about other people for a short while.
However this post just reeks of salt

*oof* and the post was almost reaching the level of a saltless arguement. Still, Endgame Pig should be a viable thing, with maybe to balance out that if at least one survivor has a trap and exit gate is opened, maybe slow down the ESC timer?
