Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Still better than a 4 metre TR Myers sneaking up to you then popping his Tier 3

Just wait until hitboxes may get fixed. Until then: good luck dying, if you play against a halfway decent killer.

That thing you want is already in their kit. Just due to the nature of how chainsaws don't alter your mind and cause you to go blind for 4s...The killer functions as intended and not like a junkie whose taken the wrong stuff.

Against Hillbilly you're going to need to learn to loop him and if no loops are available you'll need to learn to dodge. Which you can do as he can't turn very well while in a sprint. For Leatherface you can usually outrun him if you've already got a head start. His saw doesn't function like Billy's as he can fake the charge on loop. When he charges his saw he basically has to use or not at all. He's also severely slowed down while charging so they will try to walk as close to you as possible before charging. When he lets go he moves at regular speed again and slowly starts to accelerate till he's moving at maybe 117%ms. If you've gotten a decent running start and not been slowed down by anything he should often just barely miss you.

Or you could go for the more dangerous, but more effective strategy of loop LF around a small terrain piece like tire stacks or trees. These terrain pieces have very wonky collision detection and often produce invisible corners that the saw can bump into. When LF bumps into something he'll throw a tantrum that gives you plenty of time to get away. Just be careful not to try and run around him during the tantrum as the saw is still active and will down you.

Deadzones are bad news against either one. Try to avoid them as best you can.

For Hillbilly, try to never give them a straight line shot at you. Fake one way, go the other way if they catch you out in the open. The cars on Autohaven don't have hit detection, so a Billy can always curve on them without ever bumping. Keep that in mind. Billy can curve most loops that are straight, but will have a harder time if there are edges that stick out. It's kind of hard to describe. You always want a corner between the two of you in case they are good at curving. You can juke a lot of Billy players by running at a window like you're going to fast vault, then break off and loop around.

Leatherface is a bit easier. Always drop a pallet so that you are towards the inside of the map relative to the outer wall. That way you can almost always make it to another pallet by the time he catches up to you. Don't let yourself get zoned towards the outside. Remember that he has to wind up, so don't panic if he starts to rev. You can sometimes act like you're going to drop a pallet, bait a chainsaw rev, and get an extra loop out of a tile.

Overall, I tend to be a bit more conservative at loops against both of them. Both killers tend to run Enduring/Spirit Fury, so it's not worth getting an extra loop only to pallet stun and proc Spirit Fury. Better to safe drop the pallet. Most maps have enough pallets that you aren't going to run out if your teammates are actually on gens.

I would not try to stealth unless you really know what you are doing when you hear the terror radius. Just start running for a safe area and try to keep as big a lead on them as you can. Do not let them get close to you early, like if you were hiding and they find you.
