A temporary ban system
I feel that A temporary ban system would be good I’ve been playing for about two years now and when I come across toxic killers which is actually very often that I do it’s just really tiring and really just ruins the whole game I feel that a temporary baning system would work very well there would be a certain amount of reports that it would take to do this and if you reach that point you will be banned from being able to be a killer for a certain amounts of time

Wouldn't work people would just report for things they don't like, example anyone who tunnels or facecamps me would be getting reported

You can choose to be offended by behaviour of the other players but it does not mean that was their intent.
If you mean camping and tunnelling, unfortunately it is part of the game, there are perks designed specifically for both playstyles.
Hitting on hook? If I do that, you can take it as a compliment because its your punishment for giving me a difficult chase.
Also, people will report you just because they lost.
Toxic in chat I would agree with though.

A system that bans based on how often you were reported alone is probably the only thing that could be worse than the current ban system, which is already very bad and accomplishes more or less nothing

Things such as mori spamming on hook, body blocking in the basement before endgame to extend the game, and toxicity in endgame chat should be reportable for temp bans
At the very least they should have an auto monitor on endgame chat to detect racial slurs/incredibly bad words (Ie c(_) (\) t etc) and auto give timed small bans
