Very loud groans on survivors.
Yeah, i know that devs adjusted groans volume, but damn, it sounds like every killer use stridor, while its not. Maybe, its only as for me, but even fast vault sound is lower. Seems bad man.
Some characters was loud even before adjustment (Jeff, Jane, Meg at some point), now its become more hella loud.
Im ok with footsteps and running sounds, cause they were silent asf, but these groans are too loud. There is really no point of using stridor, cause you could hear survivor in a 8m radius.
I think that it should be more silent, not as before, but not loud asf like atm.
For sure, im playing on 50% sound bar.
So, whats your thoughts?

I mean, it's a shame there's only three volumes to injured survivor sounds and the frequency at which they happen.
There are Iron will & not being near the killer,
There are lockers,
And then there's Stridor.
There is no active control to temporarily prevent a survivor from whining when the killer is nearby, as unfortunate as that may be, and that's something I rather the devs work on than a new chapter.

I for one like it, it encourages the survivors to heal in order to stay stealthy, buying precious time for the killer.

I did play yesterday, I can tell you one thing.
Sounds are completely broken at the moment.

Crouching does help with how loud you are too. I am certain of it.

Oh it is LOUD. I stopped playing Nea because her heavy breathing was GROSS! I just wished they didn't sound like they were having sex.
My momma came to visit and pulled me aside and asked if I could stop having loud sex 😂. I explained, after near dying of laughter, that I was up playing a game.
Protip: Wear headphones if company is over 😬

Nope, that does'nt work, i found a claudette like that. I really hope they fix it at least the groans and breaths because they are too audible now. Footstep and running songs are fine :)

Groans of pain and breathing to a lesser extent are SUPPOSED to be audible within short ranges like 8 meters. The fact that sounds have been broken for so long have made survivors entitled.
That would be like bhvr fixing the bug that makes some hair shadows appear in front of generator auras, and then having killers complain about how hard it is to find survivors working on generators after that.

I've always thought Nea's breathing was similar to Michael's so my friend who plays her frequently creeps me out if she appears behind me/is breathing down my neck because I'm listening out for killer sounds.

This is actually lower sounds than when the game was released. Right now, you're hearing the sounds like they're supposed to be. For almost a year, they kept trying to make the sounds sound better but instead, kept messing them up. This is the sounds finally working correctly.

I noticed that Iron Will was almost useless. I was very loud using Jeff with Iron Will.
Played Trapper all day and was surprised at how loud survivors were, even with Iron Will. In essence, they nerfed IW?

Identity V is worse in terms of the moans because they're slightly cartoonish sounding so it's like you're watching anime porn with little girls.

Finally a good reason to use iron will. Always found it useless until higher ranks cause most killer couldn't hear you even when stepping on their tail coats.
