Ghostface Reveal delay

When the survivors attempt to reveal ghostface. there is a weird delay that even if ghostface goes behind a wall or hides because he notices that he is being revealed. they still get revealed

Does anyone know why that is a thing? is it a glitch or is it meant to be like that?
