Adept Laurie
I need some tips to get this trophy/achievement. I don't understand why any sane person would run Object of Tunneling by choice.
Seriously, this is probably the second hardest adept survovor achievement to get.
Any tips? How can I avoid getting tunneled or mori'd every match? For the record, I play solo survivor and SWF is out of the question. I don't have friends.

Figure out where the killer is and where they are going by quickly panning the camera. Pan the camera away from them. A lot of killers will ignore an OoO user, maybe not now with GF. You have to be very aware of where you are looking with it. You have control over it. It just takes getting use to.

object is really not a hard perk to run as long as you understand when not to look at the killer. honestly the worst part of adept laurie is sole survivor
adept david is also much harder because even with dead hard no mither is terrible

I got lucky tbh. Started the match and the killer immediately came to me, saw I was Laurie and must have figured out I was going for the achievement. They left me alone the entire match.
Knowing more about how her perks run though (as opposed to when I got lucky), playing fairly stealthily would work well. Keep your camera to the ground work on generators and only look at the killer if you are in a chase. This Apept achievement inparticular is much easily acquired in lower ranks as beginner/less verteraned killers aren't able to capitalize as much as what you would see at higher ranks.

@miaasma You just brought up painful memories, I got out as David just barely once with lv1/yellow of his perks (only attempted it 2x until I realised). Problem was the achievement was bugged, still to this day adept David is one of the only ones I haven't got because what's the point reattempting if I don't know if it's possible to get, I saved the video too...
Adept Laurie is okay in comparison, as above have mentioned lower ranks is pretty much the key for getting any adept easier, try to take advantage of seeing the killer when they're not facing you i.e. side view/in a chase etc and move around/hide and hold your camera away from their direction if you accidentally mess up and look at them as they're going towards you, and I think in mine I took a key (but didn't need to use it, best to be safe though)

I got lucky with mine. I'm a solo too. What happened was either my team was a 3 squad or very altruistic. They all died helping each other get off the hook in front of The Spirit. I got hatch after seeing where the Spirit was hatch camping with OoO. This was before EGC. Also like what Pike_Trickfoot said quickly pan around til you get a glance to where the killer is at then look away.

I got it just now, although it came with a price. I had to leave two others on the hook because I was obviously the obsession and the killer was running rancor.

Adept plus rancor means you would have probably just joined them if you weren’t confident in the save and the killer was camping. Rancor is pretty much fair enough when they want to leave. Don’t feel too bad about it, it’s a tough situation/decision. Congrats in any case 😊

My team decided to d i e. But fortunately i wasn't hit at all during the game so i escaped with a hatch and got the Item Of Obsession achievement as well as Adept Laurie!
