So, can we all agree that this event is the worst they've ever done?
- Barely any content
- A ######### tier killer
- No community challenge
- No individual challenge
- Horrible queue time as killer due to all the bugs.
- Bugs which make survivor impossible to play.

I mean hey, its not all that bad. Gives you a stockpile of BPS basically to use during the possible "Scorching Summer BBQ 2" everyone's speculating will happening...
And if not, its still something to hold onto for another x2. But does that make it any better? No not really... Its just Event Items that's about it GRANTED they're reusable... But that's it...

Sadly yes, The update brought game braking bugs which took way too long to fix, It ruined the experience for me. Not that there was much of an event anyways, Just an event BPS that's hard to come by.
The very least they could've done is make sure the Cakes appeared in every bloodweb like they've done with event offerings before since that's the only real new thing they added for the event.

Also the fact this issue was raised ages ago at the event start and nothing has changed yet with the event ending soon. I’d even take the recent lunar event vessel despair grind over this, at least it was an event with a goal and theme. I get we shouldn’t have expected anything amazing like they told us but for the 3rd anniversary to be plagued with bugs and only get a rare bp offering (for survivors mostly) and reskin firework it’s pretty disappointing.

At least for howling grounds I managed to get both rewards though... felt worth playing through the pain like many events. I also don’t remember howling grounds being half as boring or not worth participating in...wait can I even call this event participating, it’s more like play normal dbd with the buggiest update I’ve seen in a while.

I find little negative about this event.
There's little here, but that's miles better than the update that came with Howling Grounds.

It’s not so much “negative” it’s just disappointing. It’s a big milestone in comparison to these smaller events and it was just So lacklustre, there was nothing horrible just nothing worthwhile or exciting for such a big milestone

The killer is fine; idk of any bugs that make it impossible to play survivor, though. However the fact that it now crashes me out of a game when I should have pipped rather than regularly resetting my rank after almost every game makes it feel awful; i can't type in post-game chat or spectate.
The rest is true, though I'd change 'barely any' for 'literally no' content.

Anyone having the problem of gateau only give +93/94% instead of 103%? I had the issue other week in 3 games in a row.

This Event is Winter solstic 2.0 btw in the winter event they change the looby music. the lobby. and nothing more.

I'd be ok with it if the cake drops were extended by a week to make up for the bugs.

I think the problem they have is each event where we had other objects was met with the same complaints of farming and not being able to just play the game and each side had long queues at times as they wanted to play different roles for the rewards.
This event they tried to just give more BP bit with survivor having two items to get the BP reward spawns a lot less than killer.
It's a case of damned if they do damned if they dont but I wouldn't say it's the worst it's just not as flashy.
If the BP cakes were fixed then I think it would have been much better they just havent reacted when it should have been fixed since day one.
I feel they should have just removed the fire crackers in the web and let them be found in chests only as they are not worth it over the BP cakes imo and I hardly see people taking them into a game.

the amount of entitlement in this particular discusison is beyond rediculous. Are there bugs? yes. Are these annoying to some extent? yes. Do you need to be a negative nancy about it? depends on you. Could the event be better? probably.
the point is why so negative ppl, there is really no need to be so negative about a game we all love and play regularly. I'm thankful we have this game and i'm thankful we keep getting new content. There are problems but try to have a more positive approach to things in life instead of these negative posts that come over as everything is ######### and the game will die.

Most of the people in this thread aren't even being negative about the game (apart from the bugs that were brought last patch), they're being negative about the event.
It gives Bloody Party Streamers, except with +3%... like is that exciting to you? Some people have been saying they're not even working. The only other thing the event has is firecrackers, which is like the 5th time they've been added at this point.

The only reason I know an event is going on is because I constantly find crappy fireworks in chests with my Plunderer's perk when I really need, oh I don't know, something useful for my survival!

Yep, I agree, very lackluster, nothing to do. The only thing is them cakes and the firecrackers, that's literally it. Nothing meaningful and for 3 year anniversary aswell, ######### sake you'd think it's just a random weekly event, not an anniversary event

No, the decorations are cool and they throw confetti when you hook a survivor or complete a generator! I like it!

To be a 3yr anniversary was a BIG DEAL, but we got nothing really. Ghost face who isn't a very good killer, and some balloons by hooks. And the x2BP event was useless on console because no one could get a match without waiting 30 mins. The future is looking grim... Hopefully the Freddy re-work is good...

I mean, I’m all for new events and such for this game (as it can bring in new players, even if the event is lackluster.) the thing that disappoints me most about this event though is that its supposed to be the event for their 3rd year anniversary, to which they caused a lot of hype for. But then this is all the third year anniversary is? A cake that grants you 3% more bp than party streamers? Its very disappointing.

Let's say we are disappointed that all they gave us for the anniversary of the game was that and an "Event" with nothing more than different looking gens and hooks

I don't think they are that cool. I'm looking around and saying 'oh there's a gen' when it's actually just a hook with balloons on it.
And to add insult to injury every time I'm hooked there's a little party whistle and confetti tossed in the air over me. /sigh

It's not entitlement, it's the fact they hyped up this event with the 3 year anniversary stream and they deliverd just nothing special. .

Wait, is there an event going on?
I mean, it's alright if we get some 103% bps ugly tarts every one or two levels, but... didn't we get streamers or cakes before too?
The decoration is nice. The effects on the gens and hooks are nice and childishly fun, but that's all.
I with they would have added an objective, something to do besides bp farming.

I got 12 on a level 1-50 on a p3 survivor and 31 on ghostface from 1-50. Kind of unbalanced.
