My Quest for Adept Killers
As many of you are aware getting an adept killer achievement in this game is stupid hard.
So as more of a personal thing I want to document my quest for adept Cannibal and Huntress. Starting from the moment this post was made I have tried for this achievement on Cannibal AKA Leatherface/Bubba about 7 or 8 times. All of those times have been failures but one time I tried to see if I could farm with some people and then kill them off last second. Almost worked and here (image) is how close I was.
I have been informed that in order to get this achievement I must double pip (cross the red markers twice)
From here on I will comment on this post how each game number goes just to see how long It takes. I would like to record my gameplay but I don't know how to edit so I'm not sure it would be very interesting but I will post gameplay footage from start to end to my youtube channel for everyone to watch as they come out.
like I said this is more of a personal thing but let me know what you think might help! I am open to new ideas

Game one: I got a 3 kills but wasn't paying enough attention and the last man got the hatch
Still pipped but only once

Game 2 I got the achievement. I had hooked everyone twice and while making many mistakes midchase I got 3 kills and 1 dc.
Time to move on to the next killer Huntress

On the rank you are, it isnt as hard as some people may lead you to think. You just have to be a quite entertaining killer. I caught a huntress trying to get adept recently that camped each hook. She obviously wouldnt get the adept achievement like that.

2 points from a perfect game isn't what I'd call "isn't that hard". Even in low ranks having a near perfect game is rather difficult and that's also if you have a proper build.
To make it worse, Killer emblems are counter productive to each other.
Chaser needs a LOT of chases. But that takes time and prevents you from defending gens for Gatekeeper. Defending gens means you are being active in chasing people lowering total chases and hooks hurting other emblems. Some Killers even have powers that harm their own emblems.
And all Survivor has to do is escape and nothing else. You can AFK in a locker all game and still earn a Survivor adept.

I agree it is pretty unfair that survivors can get their adepts easier like the first time I tried adept jake I got via the hatch. First try.

This was my second game as Huntress trying for her Adept
I get so close each time
In the first game I just lost hard core and at this time it is 2:27am and I can't do a 3rd game

Huntress 3-Fail they gen rushed me too hard to get any good gens kicked but I did get a really cool hatchet throw into the exit gate catching the last guy

Huntress 4- Fail
They got lucky and got the Macmillan Estate map so I couldn't see anything every single twig messed with the hatchets and some dumb Claudette refused to let me hook anyone.
I only ended up getting 2 hooks, -1 pip because I couldn't do anything and the blue hair nea was stupid good at looping

Huntress 5-fail
got gideon meat plant game went as expected they popped two gens at the same time broke my totem and the person I hit somehow got mettle of man when I had never even seen him the whole game

So this was MY attempt at Adept Bubba... fml. This was one out of what felt like hundreds of games I played today. The biggest problem I feel is getting gen rushed. I just have to keep moving but good survivors will go back to any gen that has been kicked. Gave up for tonight, gonna try again tomorrow. Gl with your huntress adept.

it is for sure hard especially the lower rank you are. I am not a killer main not a survivor main. I just play the game casually. so I normally get around rank 15-13 and hang out there until rank reset
I think tonight I will just upload the clips Raw to my youtube for everyone to watch

Yeah, Leatherface was hard for me too. Attempted from levels 10-35 before I finally got it.
And this was BEFORE the double pip requirement. I don't even want to imagine the pain you went through.

Best advice is wait for rank reset to try and get your adept killers. It certainly helped me that Ghosface came out shortly after rank reset.

That's fair and I have thought about that but I enjoy playing killer even if I can't get 8 hooks a game and kick actually every gen lol

I got all adept killer trophies on PS4 and my god nurse was the most difficult one! I was red ranks when I was trophy hunting and went from rank 2 to 7. I had never used the nurse up until this point.

Currently I am Killer rank about 15 or so and I am getting people who are rank 10 and lower and I just get bullied so much! From the whole team having flashlights to someone trying to loop me the whole game. It's hard for sure

They aren't that bad.. just keep playing at that rank and you'll get it.
Make sure to hit everyone 2 times in downing.. end chases as fast as you can.... and try to hook everyone 3 times till death... ez pz
edit:.. you have to find some potatoes at that rank.. if you get to rank 15 you may find it allot harder.
When you get a lobby look at profiles, find out who have the least hours, they are the ones you'll want to ignore in the beginning and get the tougher players first, cause the better players will slam the gens on you quicker. When you find a potato in the match, don't be so harsh on them and get away from the hooks right away, otherwise they won't save in time.

Are adept trophies not tied to getting 4 kills in a single game anymore?

They were when I got the trophies about 3 months ago. I got Ruthless Killer for some and still got the trophy because I sarcrariced 4 survivors.

Nope. Need to double pip and get a Merciless Killer. I just got my Adept Bubba and it was hell trying to get it. For some reason The Game map made it a lot easier for me. Couple that with survivors that play too altruistically (:

Huntress is the last one I got. Only have Ghost remaining. Huntress is hard man. :D

It doesn't help that two of her perks aren't actually helpful.
You're gonna feel really proud when you get it!
Nurse and Billy were my version of your Huntress. God was it worth it. Just keep going, you got quite a few people who support you. :D

You know what. I haven't tried for adepts and I have been playing since 2016. Might as well try for all of the killer adepts now starting with the worst killer Leather face.

Maybe change it then so the Adept Acheivements are fair for both sides. I really don't understand the change too make it so hard for killers too get this achievement when survivors just have too hide in the basement all game then leave. It's not even close too fair.

I feel you. In a bit of downtime when I wanted more BP after boosting my Claudette for self care I got the achievement on my 2nd try. I feel that the killer adept should either be just a 4k or to make the adepts challenging make it so that survivors have to double pip as well
