With the hotfix Ghostface no longer makes the original stealth sound. Now, it's just the sound of clothing and footsteps (I think the footstep sounds were made louder to compensate). It's a lot easier to sneak up on people.

I have looked online and couldn't find this answer, so forgive me if it actually was asked, but does M&A remove the sound effect heard from Ghost Face when in stealth? I know it doesn't shrink the Lullaby from the Huntress but it DOES shrink Freddy's lullaby. I am going to assume the answer is no but I figured I'd ask.

M&A is useless on GF, he has a normal TR and the directional noise has already been removed

I didn't see any mention of the 8m sound going away so I assumed it was still in there due to hearing people complain about how loud he is in Night Shroud. Just checked and there it is so I don't know why people still say he's loud. I don't go up against him enough, even on PS4, to have known either.
Does it not? I guess I'm getting it mixed up with the Terror Radius in the Dreamworld then as it makes the distance smaller before you start to see people's auras. Thank you for clearing that up!
If the noise has been removed then it's potentially less useful but I would never call M&A useless. It's a situational perk for sure but I wouldn't quite say useless. It just doesn't uniquely benefit him if the noise has been removed.
