Those games balance and they keep balancing all the time - it never ends...which means they never really reach balance, they just get something in the general area. Same here. Devs have their stats, they have their player input, they are making calls on what is an impossible task trying to hit a moving target, but they are trying.

The issue with the whole discussion on balance is we're not dealing with a generally-accepted meaning of what 'balance' is supposed to be.
Frequent call-backs to the devs saying they consider it a certain result of 2:2 in escapes and kills is unhelpful, because the devs never explained what they actually meant and understandably haven't done since because for anyone statistically-numerate, this is meaningless in a game with ranks and match-making. The match-making + ranking will always bias the median average of escapes/kills towards 50/50, regardless of how unfair the game might actually be. We don't know if the devs were talking about the median average in the first place though.

i used to be able play 10 hours a day without break or even more sometimes , now i get max 3 matches and already feel kinda meh playing killer , same tbh as survivor doing generators is also boring . i wish there was sth like in friday 13 where there are many means of escape and they arent boring ,

Well yea, you will never achieve true balance, but when only 3 killers are viable in red ranks, there is a problem.

This is literally the only multiplayer PvP game that I know that isn't balanced around high ranks. Even Evolve or F13 are more balanced around high ranks than this

The majority are lower ranks that DC. good luck forcing new people to git gud when they already struggle to complete matches consistently as it is.

@BunnyTheHutt Actually League balances around mid ranks, because very few players are in high ranks. I'm not sure about the others you mentioned(People on League still say that they balance around high ranks when they do not). The goal of a game is to balance around the average joe, but make it so that broken high rank stuff is balanced. They hit problems in every rank, depending on how bad it is.

This is, however, a competitive game. There for it would be wise to listen to the people who understand how to play the game competitively.
