Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Empathy question

When is says "so long as the survivor isn't in direct contact with the killer", does this include chases?

Empathy is a very underrated perk , people will claim that swf makes it pointless but there are plenty of times where it's hard to give and exact location to someone and you can visualize something better than someone telling you , so not only do you have a perk that tells you where the killer is and if someone is being chased, but you also have a perk that if you run a flashlight with it you can save teammates if you're nearby or heal up an injured survivor if they aren't able to heal, because even though some may not mind being injured there are alot of people who will plain just screech to a halt and not work on anything and try to stay hidden until they can get healed.

That just means you won't see their aura while they are being carried. Aftercare, for example, let's you see their aura while carried when active.

Just means with empathy you will see injured survivors always unless they are on the killer's shoulder. Empathy has huge range, the only problem is it works on only injured survivors. I prefer Bond myself - shorter range but far more information.

As already mentioned, it means you only cannot see their aura when they're being carried.

Also although the range isnt infinite anymore, the radius is still bigger than any distance in any map.
