it's so annoying....
Remove the names of players in the lobby before match start from Killer perspective PS4 because it has become unbearable to always find the same killers who know you and know a memory like games and they use everything to win. On PC it is possible to always change name, we on console a red rank always endure things things.

Put your profile to appear offline on PS4 and nobody will see your name til the match is over.

is it really so much of a bad thing to have names displayed? pardon me, for i don't know what console is truly like, but you have to consider that not everybody would agree to have this feature implemented anyway. people have other purposes for using names in-lobby. just because you're tired of seeing the same face, doesn't mean you still can't try to adapt.

Use everything to win? Like offerings, certain perks, add-ons that were made to be used?
Either way, if they're that good at remembering names then I give them props. My memory is terrible.

Yes you can do it. Just set your PSN profile to appear offline, and nobody can see your profile pre match.

@Dwight_Fairfield He's playing survivor in this scenario.
That works to hide as killer only. Killer can click on the survivors/see their names in the lobby that's what he wants hidden.

I always thought it was absurd that the killer sees survivors but not the other way around. I should be able to avoid a killer I've dealt with before who either has a horrible connection or bad morals.
Camping with the nurse? For shame.

Not likely you'll be matched up with the same one too frequently so I wouldn't be too worried about it. They face plenty of survivors during the course,as most people play for several hours at a pop anyway.

This happened to me the other day. I do think they should hide names, because they do remember play styles etc, which causes them to adjust how they play. If not then show the killers name before game as well, so we know to adjust our play styles.

"i play from PS4, and probably PC players dont understand why i want this, so the reason i want that its cause if a killer recognize me and maybe i pissed off him hes gonna put mori everytime he see me and thats pretty annoying actually many times that happen being moried in purpose from same killer, its not a problem for PC players cause you guys change your name anytime as much you want.

Personally, I've always felt: Display all five names openly, or hide all five names. I'm a Killer main, and feel that if I can see survivor names, they should see mine as well. Not just one sided.

I thought maybe at first this was a survivor from a previous match, but it was from the killer in the lobby from the match that was just about to start :/

It always amazes me when I see threads like this and people always come in like "You shouldn't piss off killers then" and blame the survivors every time.
What if the survivors just good and the killer is salty? lol

Its also because they also Remember our play style and It totally destroy the mind game if killer know how i play cause he face me many times. Plus in PS4 there a way for make the ping High by switching the killers fast while hes in lobby and Survivors joined

right. I've been tunneled off hook into a mori because the previous game I "abused an infinite". it was shelter woods and he was referring to shack. some people are just bad and cant admit it

I know how see killers on PS4 but doesnt matter if killer know your play style, he know what you gonna do in chase how thats fun? or bring in purpose mori for one person cause he just made a killer pissed off? even if you dodge the lobby hes gonna search for you, i dodge 5 times the lobby cause It was the same killer cause he wanted mori me so badly thats annoying.

Very true, I’ve had a few repeat offenders who throw the entire game to target/grief me and I don’t even remember them/why they would hate me so much, once with a mori to get even I get but seriously some people it’s every game usually for a dumb reason. If it happens again, I’m just reporting them but I don’t think it should be removed, in general I use it to avoid repeat toxic survivors/killers (abusive post match, sandbagging/farming teammates, hitting on hook while facecamping etc I usually give them 2 chances because I often get the same people back to back)
