Hex: Huntress Lullaby is arguably better with 1-4 stacks than 5

Just wanted to talk about this perk a bit. It's not that effective against good players anyway, but when I'm playing as survivor I feel like the delayed warning messes up with your muscle memory and actually can lead to some missed skill checks. Meanwhile, after 5 stacks, I rarely miss anything because after you know it's at 5 stacks you stop relying on audio cues altogether.

What do you guys think? Am I crazy?

It makes sense. When you hear the cue, you know you have a certain time to focus on the screen and find the skill check. When that time is gone, you just pay attention all the time. It's the same logic behind how safety features can make you less safe.

Yep. At least in my case, coming from fighting games/platformers has trained me to use audio cues for a lot of things. If you're conditioned to rely on something's sound to answer to it, any small change to it can really mess you up.

Especially considering the overwhelming majority of seasoned players already use sounds for basically everything in this game (when they work lol)

Huntress Lullaby could use some changes in the future, and if they look into it I hope they consider this.

There's an argument to be made that at 5 stacks, people need to pay more attention to gen repairing because of skill checks and it takes a toll on other aspects of their performance, but at least personally I don't see this happening.

I just keen my senses whenever there is either 2 or 3 tokens.

how bout this, huntress lullaby always has a random time between the ping and the skill check coming up, and the tokens add an additional .5/1/2 % increase to failed skill checks capping at 5 tokens.

I think buffs would be nice, but for starters I think it'd be enough to only light the totem up when the perk is actually working.

Huntress Lullaby is nowhere near as powerful enough to warrant warning survivors before the perk actually does anything.

Could make it so that at 5, the time between the audio cue and the Skill Check is randomized. :P

I fail skillchecks when there is 2 stacks lmao because I keep getting that super super early skillchecks u almost have to instantly press space when it appears.
