What is the cooldown for the Freddy teleport ?
Hi lads!
Is it true that Freddys teleport ability has a 45 sec cooldown ? I don't even know why the teleport needs a cooldown in the first place.

I hope they will reduce the cooldown a little, maybe 30-40 seconds.
However, I understand why there is one, if there wasn't you could just teleport infinitely to every gen, kick it, and keep doing that, additionally if you ran overcharge with infinite teleports it would be an awfully long & annoying match.

The base cooldown is 45 seconds. It is automatically reduced for every Survivor in full-sleep. There is an add-on that can also reduce it even further.

Makes sense, but It is still way to high imo.

I guess it depends really, ultimately you'd want to be in a chase for the majority of a match, so it'll likely cooldown by the time a chase has finished.

@SenzuDuck I also feel like too much emphasis is being placed on Teleport by people. Freddy's core power is going to orbit around his snares (or pallets with the add-on) and the fact that according on Peanits in another thread, hitting a Survivor who is in partial sleep draws them into full sleep. If that remains as he stated, it negates the extra 30 seconds timer on falling asleep after waking up via a Dream Clock. Which can be huge.
He's going to be a chase killer with the ability to drop Snares without even slowing down helping "a little" at loops if done right. The teleport isn't a core part like the chainsaw with Billy or Blinking with Nurse. His overall map pressure is still going to remain low, which apparently how the Devs want him.

Hopefully they reduce the cool down 45 seconds is a looong time with current game.

I like the way he works, 8 snares, snare the pallets around 2-3 gens, teleport, get a hit, easy slow downs at the loops.

@SenzuDuck Based on the Dev stream and what they revealed, I'm not personally sold on him yet. However, I'm waiting until some hands on time before I form a real opinion.

Remember that additionally the teleport isnt a tool to catch survivors at generators, its a highly telegraphed "mobility" skill, which gets disabled in endgame.
