Does the game work better on more than 60 FPS or it makes it worse?

It's better, however the only thing really noticeable is the skill checks being smoother. The rest of the game will appear to be running at 60fps.

I don't see how having recommended FPS can make your experience worse, it's always a good thing to have more FPS
