I hate the swamp map
This is just my opinion but it's my most hated map when i play killer, It's really hard to see anything in first person for me and it's an absolute gold mine to hide in with survivors. I pray i don't get it and most of the time and use offerings to avoid that map at all costs, it's caused me so much frustration all because everything is grey and the same color scheme, like there's to me so many mazes alone in the map than in most of the others, I'd rather run blindfolded through cold wind farm and find my way out 8 times over than hunt down a 4 man alpha squad of especially Claudette's
Anyone else feel the same way?

I actually feel the opposite way.
IMO swamp maps are balanced for both sides (except the dead zones for nurse).
Places to hide, open areas, changes in elevation that allow sneaking, good number of windows, pallets, etc.
I'll take 5 swamps if you delete Haddonfield.

For me it is asylum. I always do worse there than anywhere else.

I like swamp as both killer and and survivor. The one I fear as killer is the Japanese one - so much shrubbery and so many places to hide...

The swamp becomes a problem when your team waste pallets early due to how spread out the pallets are. So if your team is pallet hungry then your not gonna have a fun time

Yamaoka Estate is worse

Agreed. Probably the most balanced but it's so drab amd dreary.

The theme is why I like it, great for horror story setting.

Fitting for a "horror" game, don't you think?

I've never liked the swamp maps either, mainly because they seem so uninspired. All the other maps have so much more atmosphere, but the swamp maps seem so dull by comparison.

Swamp used to be more awful though, when it came out it was much bigger then it is now.

Swamp is a beautiful map, imo. It fits the DBD aesthetic perfectly, or at least it matches the original core maps the most.
The problem is the size. Backwater is still pretty bad, and even Grim Pantry has too many outer tiles with content on them.

i was thinking that too, i can't imagine a killer being able to protect jack in the bigger one
