Problem with TT is once you know the killer has it you can just let go of a gen and just wait out the 16 seconds in safety

Not really.
You can simply stand up from a Gen once you know that the Killer has this Perk, to not give him any information if this is a Gen being worked on.

Both are valid points so it's more contextual and based on how many times they hook rush then

16 seconds is a joke. To actually have an impact, it should be somewhere around 60 seconds. Making people choose between waiting 60 seconds or risking the attention of the killer.

Honestly yeah, especially since it has that cooldown already too. At least make it threatening.

@ClogWench Dunno why it has such a huge cooldown anyway. How could you POSSIBLY abuse this perk?

60 seconds would be too long; because it also blocks off generators once you get off of them; and you can just "refresh" every so often when it comes off of cooldown. 30 seconds would definitely be a better number to try first.

I assume it's to prevent killers from getting way too much out of it if they're quickly snowballing hooks, but considering that's not easy to do, it doesn't seem like a necessary limitation.

It's to prevent people from picking up and dropping survivors 3-4 times to keep gens locked down for an entire minute. If it wouldn't be a good strategy then you could at least needlessly extend games with it.

Oh now that makes sense actually

Put a different way, let's say I find the most potato survivor ever who I can easily catch within 16 seconds once they get off my shoulder.
I could easily hold the game hostage for a significant amount of time if that 16 seconds was a lot longer or the cooldown wasn't longer than the duration.
Edit: Even if the cooldown was just barely longer than the duration; I could keep "refreshing" it until someone gave in and revealed their location to me. The current implementation gives you about 30 seconds to get on gens where the killer can't know where you are while simultaneously preventing the killer from holding the game pseudo-hostage.

I feel this perk is really strong with spirit. It's replaced bbq for me, but only when i combo it with Pop.

I know! If you get to block all generators for 60 seconds, then you are compeled to camp the hooked survivor. I would do it anyway, but still, 60 seconds seems like a little too much
