Have the Devs even hinted about fixing the gen speed issue?
I know TWO major survivor friendly exploits (With Wake Up and Sprint Burst) and one killer bug which nerfed a perk they wanted to "Buff" But are there any thing on the pipe lines you guys have heard about them fixing the fact that it feels like ruin is a must or is the Killer just meant to struggle and stress 90% of their games?

Fix Gen speed/add a second objective and watch the average survival rate drop to 10%.
Idk why people dont relize that we would need to re balance almost every single killer in the game if an second objective is added.

Solo is getting boring because there is nothing new to do besides some new perks you get when a new survivor comes out, adding a second objective would make playing survivor in general more appealing IMO

I thought they fixed the Wake Up bug, though? It's like Audreyu said, so probably not right away. A flat out buff/debuff would leave survivors in a pickle against certain killers, so I'm guessing they're working their way towards that. I'm hoping, at least.
It doesn't help that people seem somewhat wishy-washy on what to do, too.

Since when is gen rushing an issue?

Make gens a tiny bit faster but make it so you have to do something like follow the cable to get to a breaker box not too far away to restart the generator. The progress will still be kept but you can't repair it any more unless you check the fault.
Idk anything which is less tedious, increases gameplay objectives

@DudeDelicious Just because they are sweaty toolbox SWF doesn't mean they aren't still potatoes lol.
But legit it isn't just for the sake of killers. This isn't fun for either side, I would like to see them add something that made them do more running around. Like make gens over all take less time to repair. Say 60 instead of twenty but add like an extra two step steps to it.

they were talking about adding secondary objectives in the future.
im pretty excited for it! lets see what they will do and how it will affect the game!

If there are any upcoming changes, it should be kept in mind that the solo survivor escape rates in all ranks are laughable.
The top tier killers such as hillbilly, nurse and spirit are already strong enough (and even overpowered with some addons). Any changes to survivors (nerfs, additional objective or increased gen repair time ... etc) would consequently make these killers even stronger.
Balancing should be done for both sides. Otherwise, it is just butchering one side to the point where it is not playable.

If a Killer gets no gen pressure or map pressure in the beginning of the game, that will severely effect the game's outcome.

@Mister_xD AFAIK, the devs never said that they will definitely add a 2nd objective.

Most people who actively use ruin dont understand why they are using it. Everyone has told them it is necessary as a killer to use ruin, but why? Because Ruin stops gen rushing? No incorrect.
Ruin is good simply to delay time for specific killers who need set up time or take awhile to do stuff. Trapper and Hag being huge examples.
Genrushing seems to be a overly used terms by bad killers who see anyone do the objective of doing the gens. There are specific set ups and builds for gen rushing yet I have see people without a single one of these be called genrushers. Just because they use proper game experience to get back on a gen instead of wandering around like a new player.
Ruin prevents killers from learning to apply proper pressure in the games on generators and survivors in general. Instead they assume Ruin will cover that up and they can chase the survivors like a rabid dog. Not everyone is like this of course, but a lot of people who use Ruin do in fact use it to cover the flaw of them being bad at applying pressure on multiple fronts.

Gen fix time is fine, if you are getting gen rushed is because you are not applying good map pressure

I agree with this.
I've literally had killers accuse my team of "You only won cuz you genrushed"...when I didn't even see them once during the match. (I don't play stealthy btw).
Just think it's hilarious, when are survivors going to start using the term "hook rush" lol

Exactly, its more the killer´s fault but they cant get it.
Somebody is not checking gens which is THE OBJECTIVE for survivors.

Yeah, increase more places where the killer can camp and block progress, everything is survivor´s fault.
There are tons of good killers out there not having problems with gens rush, also survivors makes mistakes too...

Pretty much, sometimes ruin is a huge problem when you play solo and have a bad team so you need to search the whole map, but aside that is lame.
Ruin is the perfect excuse for bad killers to hook a couple of times before the game starts.

Because camping twice as many objectives is harder for killers yet survivors don't make any more progress than they would have.

Not twice, as long they are blocking progress it doesnt matter if its stops the chance to escape.
I´ve been in lots of games were the last gens were like 40 feet from each other and the guy camping like hell making a 40 min round, also in lots of maps the exit gates are laughable close so no thanks.

I noticed this a lot more when I stopped playing survivor and jumped to killer.
Yes it is a huge problem when people play solo. As a survivor I'm able to work through Ruin so I dont really pay attention till I see someone gen tapping and my only thought was it's a bad tactic. As a killer I noticed I play in a way that unless they find it personally before or when we get into a chase I proceed to push them the opposite direction from ruin so they dont get a chance to see it.

ill give you something to do, annoy killers using the inconsistent head on before the patch goes live for extra salt
