Will devs ever fix totem placement?

I know they've mentioned it a few times here and there, but month after month goes by, and still nothing is done about it. I'd personally like a rework on the whole totem situation, but at least remove the open area spawn locations for them, please.

    I guess you weren't around for the original placements, but it has improved. However, there is admittedly still a number of stupidly obvious spots that need to be deleted from the game.

    I’d like it so the hex totem doesn’t light up until 2 minutes into the game.
