Giving We're Gonna Live Forever a secondary effect?

Barbaque and Chilly has the ability of giving the killer the ability to see survivors outside of a certain radius along with extra bloodpoint stacks while WGLF only has the stacks effect with safe rescues. So, what if upon rescuing (or after you get the safe hook rescue) you see the aura of the killer for a short duration (or both you and the one saved) like Barbeque?

As of right now, WGLF has no other effect so it's a dead perk which is the only of it's kind (a perk that has no visual effect in a match). With the new survivor bloodpoint gains in the next patch, it will make WGLF and Barbeque closer in terms of counterparts (as before Survs obtained much fewer BP on average) but Barbeque still has that slight edge.

It could also provide the rescuer more info as if the aura was shown after the hook they could see if the killer is making their way back to the hook or not so they could heal under hook.

Another idea could be instead of seeing the killer's aura, giving the survivors a 5 or 8% speed bonus for five seconds if the killer is not within 40 meters (the rescuer won't be told the killer is within range until they finish unhook action) so they can run and find a safe place to heal. It would just be a nice buff to this perk and maybe more people would run it for not the bp but the extra effect. Some killers use Barbeque and Chilly more for the aura reading/information of surv positions at times (although we are all slaves for Bloodpoints)

What else would be a nice secondary effect for WGLF? It would be a very welcoming buff if this perk was given more utility.

A 25% bonus to healing people you've unhooked before.

WGLF is obviously designed to work in conjunction with a killer using BBQ.

BBQ incentivises the killer to leave the hook, WGLF incentivises a rescue.

Why does BBQ alone then get the aura read but not WGLF? Because survivors already have the relevent aura read by default. When killers went through a period of not being able to see the hook aura and find it again(the devs first called it a bug before later saying it was always an intended change, then eventually fixing 'the bug'), the survivors still could. They didn't have to run around the map searching for the person needing un-hooking.

Considering the time-frame for this bug, shortly after Leatherface was released, it suggests that the dev-narrative that is true is a mix of both. We'll never know though. But WGLF is entirely equal to BBQ, survivors just don't see it.

Imagine if killers didn't need to use BBQ in order to get the benefit of auras when they hook someone; BBQ would still do exactly as it does now, it hasn't been nerfed, it's just the core feature for killer has recieved the aura read. This would mean it works exactly like WGLF rather than different but equal, yet survivors would scream about this 'huge buff' to killers without regarding BBQ as being strongly nerfed.

Both sides can see the hooked survivor(s) so no, they aren’t equal.
