The frequency of garbage perks in the blood web make the grind even more ludicrous

Leveling up takes long enough. The devs know which perks are garbage because there is a rarity system. So I am always getting Slippery Meat (a perk for one killer, seriously?), No One Left Behind, Monstrous Shrine, etc.

It takes 20-30 hrs of gameplay to get one character from level 1 to level 50. Give me a break.

u know what doesn't help? how some good perks that u would want are not worth the perk slot if not tier 3. such as ds or spirit fury

to be fair rarity isn't really an indication of how good a perk is

balanced landing is a green perk at rank 3 and premonition is purple, for example

It's been like that from day 1. The Bloodweb is kind of a slap in the face because it's false freedom regarding everything players WANT. You get one Perk, occasionally an option of which, and if you're lucky a good offering or addon. Everything else is clutter you're obligated to slog through for the last level, and odds are you're getting force-fed a mist offering.

Rarity is not equal to strength. at all. like, at all at all. There are plentiful good green rarity perks, and plentiful purple perks that are either extremely niche, or just not good. Hell, Discordance has an argument to being its best at tier 1 where its yellow, than tier 3 where its green.

They need to get rid of perk tiers, all they do is punish new players because they’re running inferior versions of good perks and artificially increases the grind. There’s a ton of perks in the game now so it’s totally unnecesarry.

I wouldn't mind the tiers if prestige didn't toss your perks. You should at least keep the lowest tier of them you had + 1 per prestige.
