PLEASE BEHAVIOUR can we get some temporary measures against the toxic dc'ing playerbase?
Honestly it is beyond a joke how common dc'ing has become, to the point where every other round is now a 3 survivor game. Is there seriously nothing that can be done until dedicated servers come in?

Perma-ban for everyone who DC's then every other round won't exist meaning Killer queues will be twice as long as they are now, 30 minute wait times not long enough? No problem! lets extend them to 1 hour! =D

Maybe not perma-bans right away until dedicated servers come in, but I definitely can't see a problem with, say 15/30/60 min re-queue timers. I would honestly rather wait longer for a game than get put quickly into a match where there's not a full team

@DoubleTap you know what? I happily take longer waiting times, if in return, DC losers get culled like they deserve. Simply don't need people who don't want to play the game.
Also, I don't know about you guys, but if my killer lobbies seem to take too long, I just switch to survivor.

But they do give out escalating bans for DC'ing. It just might not seem like it since it's different people every game, but rest assured if people do it excessively they do get banned for it, console or Pc. I would know since I actually got a week long ban for said Dc'ing.

DCing is one of the most toxing thing, a player can do towards survivors.
To my time, as I had play killer, I was never really annoyed by DCing guys. I have just thank them in my thoughts and take the fast earned points, but this one dcing guy had ruin the fun for probally 3 other survivors and that is something more serious then.
Behavior should just ban them. Some of them need even need this to realize that they ruining the fun for other players.
And what the que times matters... I can't remember long waiting times in the EU pc region^^. 1-5 mins max. That's ok. I need anyways time to check my mails, taking a coffee, making a cigarette, going on toilette and so on... It was always ok for me to have a few mins between the matches.

Aw some bad typos again in this posting. Sry guys... But I prefer a visible posting over a posting that takes a long time for approval. So... sry, not sry^^.

While I don't doubt that's true, the issue then is that it's happening behind the scenes. In a game where I would imagine the majority of players (and I very much could be wrong) are solo and so they never see the ramifications of a report or dc. In this case there is little deterrent to other players not to dc because the consequences are anecdotal until they actually see a ban happen to them.
To give a slightly off-topic example, I was held hostage in a game as killer by two survivors (this was before endgame rework) for over half an hour. I managed to record the match + the post game chat where they admitted what they did. I opened a ticket with support, waited a couple of days for a reply and submitted the video as requested. I then got a reply from support a couple days later saying that they would look into it from here but that they do not notify you further of the actions taken.
It honestly felt so frustrating to go through all the hassle of the support system, waiting for the ticket to be got to, uploading the footage, etc,. to still be as left in the dark as if I had might as well just hit the report player button post lobby and left it there.
My point is that using the current tools the game provides to try combat the toxic portion of the playerbase feel completely underwhelming, as does the consequences for disconnecting. Other games have lockout timers for leavers and I just don't see why DbD can't do the same, when it's an issue that is actively affecting the game negatively.

Wait until dedicated servers release.

They should also punish suicides on hooks, they are essentially the same thing :(

Yes, then once we ban consistent DCers, they can start doing the unbannable version of killing themselves on hook first time round!
Once they come back from temp. bans of course.
