Pallet stuns and flashlight blinds

Why can’t we drop a pallet when the killer is picking up a survivor to make the killer drop the survivor anymore? You have to wait until the very last second/have the killer be walking for it to happen.

same thing happens with flashlight/firecracker blinds. Half of the time it same “killer blind” but they don’t drop the survivor. I know it’s probably because it’s a split second too soon but why was this implemented? Does everybody agree with this?

    the reason it works the way it does is because of the killer pickup animation being changed during the legion patch

    you have to stun/flashlight blind the killer right at the end of the animation (in the case of flashlights, before the killer has the opportunity to look away)

    it's always worked this way, with a specific timing in mind. that timing changes if the killer pickup animation is changed, as dropping a pallet or blinding a killer before the animation is completed means they will not drop the survivor

    I could have sworn that pallet drops on a killer that’s picking up a survivor could be done in such a bigger/earlier time frame. But the killer animation might just be what’s throwing me off

    You could blind killers picking up survivors without timing before and it was utter bullshit, flashlight blinds required no skill and the only way killers could counter it was with lightborn up until Franklins was released

    Same goes for pallet stuns

    Yeah that’s what I remember. I understand the flashlight stun, it used to be ridiculous but I just wonder if it should be literally a slight slight bit easier instead of the very very very last second. But my main thought was on pallets, thank you because I thought I was going crazy wondering why they aren’t dropping survivors. I think they should have a slight earlier window of when you can drop the pallet. I meann you are dropping a heavy pallet on them so why wouldn’t they drop the survivor ;)

    haha just thought I was crazy and wondered if people agreed with the change

    Because it looked rly stupid.

    Killer grab a survivor, other survivor pallet stun instant

    After the killer grab animation the killer is stuned

    @ZacKdbd

    It's not the end of the pickup animation. The way flashlight and pallet stuns work is it doesn't stun the killer into a survivor until they actually begin carrying the survivor. Which is why if you do it too early it doesn't work because technically the killer is still in the pick up animation. That's why you time the stun or the flashlight to activate the moment the killer can actually move before they can move away. This was changed to allow stuns during the pickup animation but that was broken as #########.

    Because that was unbalanced as heck.
