Why is Pig Leather cosmetic a different price?
All very rare cosmetics have always been 1080 auric cells so why is this one 1188 ac? These cosmetics are already overpriced why raise it even further?

Im pretty sure because that cosmetics have a sound effect with the drilling. I’m not sure if the other pig cosmetics does the same thing.

I think it's because the drill has extra effects.
Not only does it have the spinning animation but every time you swing you can hear the drill sound which is unique to that weapon

Honestly as insignificant it might seem I really like the fact that we have a weapon with a unique sound effect and animation.
If I could get something like that for an extra dollar or pound it's not too much of a problem for me. If they were charging me £5 extra for it then I would be outraged

There isn't even a pack where you can buy 1188 ac. You have to buy the $20 pack which is way overpriced.

You clearly want it or you would be making a such a big deal.
However the reason why I say don't buy it is because if you don't agree with the business practice show them with your wallet.
99% of the time companies are not going to care about what you leave on a message board however if profits get taken away that speaks louder than most words can.

Cosmetics are just overpriced in general it's even more because it's a licensed cosmetic sadly. Cosmetics should never be more than a DLC but most of them are :/

Just buy the 10 and 5 dollar packs once. It's still outrageous that they wouldn't even put an auric cell sale right now for 1200 for 12 dollars or something.

You have got to be ######### kidding me. $10 is already insane. Now they're trying to charge more? BHVR really has been consumed by greed. Unfortunately players will just eat these cosmetics up no matter what, which makes the devs think that these prices are fair. At the most, non-event or licensed outfits should be $5 and cosmetic pieces should be $2. Licensed/event outfits cost $7-8 and the cosmetic pieces cost $3-4. The current prices are insane and probably wouldn't have been accepted by most other game communities. This isn't even a F2P game!

Spymature: I wasn't planning on buying those news skins anyway because I don't play her, but i still think its total BS that they would suddenly increase the max price of a cosmetic for no good reason. We have to stop this kind of behaviour early, before a single cosmetic set is going to be sold for the price of two.

SpyMature: Agree with them increasing the price because it was seen as more popular, and thus greed got the upper hand. Disagree with them increasing the price for that cosmetic price so they wouldn't have to for the other sets, that's just stupid, there's no guarantee people will buy the cosmetic with a higher price to make up for the decrease in others, so no, it's just BHVR being greedy #########.
Also, I just remembered another thing, when the developer build was leaked along with Tapp's and Pig's cosmetic, all of them were worth 1080, so it must be the fact that BHVR saw how everyone loved the leather jacket cosmetic, so they decided to make a profit on that.

That Pig Leather outfit is cool. Even the other one is. They both seem like they could give an edge with stealth especially leather.
However, not paying 10 dollars for this s***. On Xbox I rarely see ANYONE with the 10 dollar outfits. Maybe one in 10 matches. No marketing genius here but I kinda feel like if the prices were more reasonable they would sell more and ultimately make more money. I could live with spending 2-3 on these outfits but nah.
Hell, I can't even spend 2-3 dollars on outfits because those are the things you can get for 900 shards or something. Not gonna pay when I could do that....
Actually while looking now. IDK if thisis an error but the pigs leather outfit is slightly more expensive at 1,188 Auric cells...10 percent off...the generosity is overwhelming.
But what this means is the 8.99 1,100 auric cell pack won't cover this. Didn't that used to be 9.99? Wouldn't surprise me if they "lowered the price" if they're going to be pulling this slick s***. This reminds me of the BS Xbox Points from back in the day where you couldn't just buy ######### you wanted you needed to invest in a fake currency that exists SOLELY for situations like this that will force you into multiple purchases to get what you want.
So now if you want to buy this outfit but want the "bang" for your buck you will need to spend 17 effing dollars. 13.50 if you don't care about losing the "bonus" cells in the 17$ pack. If you did decide to get the bonus....sorry charlie your still 18 auric cells short of enough to buy BOTH Pig outfits. You will be forced to spend another 5....
I was gonna post this somewhere else so that is why I mention the price change as if I am realizing it after clicking the topic talking about the price change. Still relevant to the situation though. Of course....being defended like hell. People actually like being ripped off or parents just do not care about their CC charges these days.

There alot of skin that are great they could have choose 50 skins to put into the game at 10$ a skin and then the cash would have rolled in

Anyone who's saying it's due to licensing is clearly wrong, considering 3 OTHER licensed outfits including another for the Pig dropped today, and all were the regular (still overpriced) price.
Also, Ash and Ghostface have outfits and they don't cost exorbitant amounts either.
Literally, it's just that they saw the positive reaction to the outfit when they revealed it, so decided to charge through the nose for it. My guess is they lost more money from people protesting the price than they gained by making it more expensive.

@MojoTheFabulous Now they got a taste for what they can get away with, so skins are gonna end up being 15 euro per default very soon. That's usually how it goes. The frog doesn't know its getting boiled if you slowly keep raising the temperature.

The only reason i'm not purchasing these skins is because of this price.
