Forum doesn't accept videos recorded via PS4?
I'm trying to upload a video which I recorded through my PS4, then obviously downloaded it to my Computer. Now when I try to upload it here, it says that "the uploaded file did not have an allowed extension". It's not just this video though, I tried the other videos from my PS4, and I get the same result.
Does anyone know anything?

Why don’t you just upload them to YouTube off your PS4 and make it where it’s only viewable by link only and post it?

I'd much rather do it the other way, where you can watch it here. Especially, otherwise, I'd have to upload every video to YouTube, which I'm not very active on.

Almost everyone here uploads their videos to YouTube and shares the link on here. Now that I think about it, every video I’ve seen on here has been off of YouTube.
I don’t know if there’s restrictions on posting videos that’s not directly off a link or what.
You can try looking up a website to reformat the video. That could be an issue. There’s plenty of websites that could reformat videos.

Iv'e tried the link method before. But the video doesn't show here and you can't watch it directly. That's why I'd say not as many people bother to watch it since they have to click on a link and go to another website.

I've definitely clicked YouTube videos and watched them without leaving the site.

You can't directly upload a video here. It's a pretty simple concept. It's why everyone posts links instead.

Must be the link type you're using.
