The Karma System- SOLUTION TO DISCONNECTS

How is getting banned for breaking the rules unjust?

Disconnecting from a game isnt always breaking the rules.

You came on here to post your ideas about disconnecting, so did I. I explained why I thought my method was better, so did you. Why would you come onto the forums, an area of discussion if you don't want to discuss how things should work?
1 -
Oh no? Feel free to share where the devs said that and which instances aren't breaking the rules.
1 -
Its truth. Idc what anyone says. The devs dont know what's best for their game. They're proven that much

So, again, you don't have an argument. It doesn't matter what your opinion of the devs and their rules is. It is their game to make the rules for and you agreed to follow them or suffer the consequences when you check, "I agree" to the ToS when you first loaded up the game.

They are wrong, and not very intelligent. That's why their game has never grown in its player base. At best they're consistent. Trust. Look at the state of this game. Its dying. The community is dwindling and this is all that's keeping it afloat. Wake up

So now you’re insulting the devs because people disagree with you? You can’t expect people to take you seriously.
4 -
don't like it 😁
1 -
I don't. It's quite clear their agenda is to punish players for not playing the way they want. All that talk in the other thread about fixing the reasons why people DC, trying to justify DCing, and straight up admitting that campers/tunnelers would be taking karma hits.
4 -
It's an over complicated system when a simple timeout for those that dc over a time period is simple and automatic.
Say its over 24 hours.
1 dc 5 min
2 dc 10 mins
3 dc 15 mins
And so on.
The devs already said they are working on a new dc punishment with dedicated servers.

Lol ok. Disconnecting from a game is always bad for the other players who actually play the game. This is worse than bias; it's being selfish for allowing players to dc because they have been behaving well for few games.

This isnt always true, when your survivor friends are trapping you in a corner or the killer is farming and you dont want to. Maybe hes slugging you or dropping you a bunch to troll you. Theres a multitude of reasons for disconnecting that are good reasons imo. I don't feel the devs are right on that point. That's all. No hostility

If it's in the game, bad or good, it will be used. You can not justify disconnecting in a multiplayer game only because the game is not fun for you.
The most i can see is a forfeit option for survivors which allows them to leave the game if 4 survivors have already been in dying state without unbreakable equipped on any. This is not the same thing as leaving because you are the last survivor left in EGC. It's basically a way of taking the loss earlier, so that you don't have to suffer boring monitor. You would gain your BP like normal. Killer also would gain the BP that he would normally do, and a quitter bonus to make up for what BP they could have gained with specific killers like increasing madness with Doctor while slugging.
That is not the same as disconnecting to an iridescent head, doctor, nurse, spirit, simply anything that is not fun for you at any point in the game.
I know it's very boring, but disconnecting is just being inconsiderate of everyone in the trial. Same thing goes with not playing the game (basically afk.)
Sandbagging and similar exploits are devs fault. All i can say is be vigilant, and report.

I like using bold font too sometimes. Makes me feel special.
There are many more things that are much more inconsiderate than just disconnecting.

I don't use bold fonts on purpose; you can try copy pasting to see if it works for you. Anyways no hostility doesn't seem like the correct way to describe yourself. Please lower your attitude. Just because something is worse than this doesn't mean you've got the right to do it. If there was something so much more inconsiderate, then why is it that dcs are getting so much attention?
