Not to be rude, but. Designers, what are you thinking?
Why in the world does the design team insist on adding bright colored skins to 3/4th's of the survivor cast, but then have a few survivors which have basically all dark clothing that allows them to hide much better?
I'm looking at you, Claudette.
I play Feng, and trying to find a dark outfit to actually conceal myself is difficult when almost every skin added for her is bright or has very noticeable, colorful features added onto it.
Demon Slayer skin was selected as the winner by the staff and once again, the skin is so bright and colorful that the killer will be able to see it from 1/2 way across the map. Skins like these are literally there to scream at the killer: "LOOK AT ME!", and I personally feel like it doesn't fit the aesthetic of the game.
That's just one man's opinion though. Thoughts?

Claudette has bright clothes too. Try Fengs default hair, her green sci-fi top and the brown or light grey pants.

Just play Claudette

Btw saying “not to be rude” doesn’t make it any less rude.

I don't want to play Claudette, I don't like how certain members of the cast can be practically invisible (P3 Claudette) while other's can barely hide from sight. I know that looping is the most viable way to playing, but being immersive can be useful from time to time.

How was he rude? Saying ''not to be rude" sometimes actually mean the person is not going to be rude, believe it or not.

P2 Feng top and bottom + Moonrise hair = my kit

He is saying that the Feng cosmetic shouldn’t have won because he wants Feng to have darker clothes.

The closest thing to being rude in that message is directed towards the one who came up with the cosmetic, not the ones who chose it. And even then, that is not rude at all, its valid criticism (which you may agree with or not) that the person doesnt feel the design fits with the general atmosphere of the game.

It is intentional, it's not an oversight. There are some that aren't as bright and colourful as others; the Brazilian Claudette shirt is an extreme example of the brighter ones, but there are plenty that are fairly dull which won't stand out too much.
You are not meant to blend into the environment. If the killer is looking at you, you have failed to hide from them. Stealth is about not being seen, not being seen and hoping the killer doesn't notice.

Lol so not being seen is your fault even if you stick out like a sore thumb? It amazes me stealthy killers have more stealth than survivors are allowed to have. Nobody is asking to be an invisible survivor. We just ask we have nice outfits that dont make it extremely effortless to be found. And yeah, purple head fengs are extremely easy to see behind things lol.
It's too bad the devs have made what used to be about stealth and chase to mostly just forcing survs into chases. Killers are too bad or lazy to have to look, so let's make cute outfits all bright and give them super anti stealth powers and perks. God forbid some balance or compromise.
You're absolutely right, survivors in bright colors is stupid and takes you out of the games atmosphere bc it looks ridiculous. Stealth should have been a strength mainly saved for survivors and a rare exception for killers. I really enjoy stealth but they make it nearly impossible on half the killers now. Just another nerf for baby killers bc they wah wah the devs constantly.

If only the system that detects when a killer is in a chase worked by the same principle.

I recommend the Military jacket for Feng. It's excellent for stealth.
Or play Tapp in his default "casual" outfit & without hat. Almost less visible than Claudette.
Although I kinda agree, I'd like some Tones down options. Doesn't have to be Claudette lvl dark, but just some more natural, chill colors instead of screaming pinks ans whites so bright I feel like the lord is coming with fire. Serioulsy, the whites are too bright.

Stealth is about seeing you hiding with my many aura sight abilities

stealth is for Rank 20's.

I disagree with the "stealth is for suckers" ideology.
Luckily there's an option for those of us who think looping should not be the only playstyle available.
When playing killer, I actually give post-trial props to those players who used stealth in a match. Wether they succeeded or not.
For whatever those props are good for, though...

Not sure if you realized but they nerfed all dark clothes a while back. You can see Claudette or any other survivor pretty easily regardless of what they're wearing now. This personally disappoints me because I feel like blending in should be possible. I saw Claudette's even when their clothes weren't bright. It was harder, but the stealth aspect was more fun for me as a killer and as a survivor. Now you can see anyone anywhere with little to no effort and it's kinda disappointing.

You can be stealthy while wearing bright clothes. Just don't be in the killer's LOS.

Oh? You are not meant to blend into the environment you say? I'll start believing you once you fix Claudette :)
