Dream Snares
Hello new and old Freddy's players. Do you have any good tips for Dream Snares usage? I find myself struggling with those and just using Dream Pallets instead ;-)

Hm, I started placing them lika a Hag would: around gens and in looping spots.
Biggest upside is that the survs cannot see them before they enter the dream and, as far as I know for now, cannot destroy or disable them in any way.
If you place em around gens you pretty much have some sort of alarm system set if one of em works on it and falls asleep- and since it does not slow you down to place them you can do it while patrolling gens right at the start of the match.

Snares are a bit more tricky compared to pallets.
However they are great around loops and encourage slow vaults around those LT walls set-ups. Also good around key buildings (Shack, and Ironworks for example).
My advice is not put them under a pallet. Put them next to debris you think the survivor is going to loop you around. And put as many as you can. Unlike the other trap-based killers, Freddy doesn't slow down at all using his power.

If you place them near windows I'm pretty sure when they run over them they will slow the survivor enough so they can't quick vault.
Other than that I'd say place them in looping spots and places Survivor travel though a lot.

Use them like you would Hags traps or Clowns bottles. They're very effective on short loops, and with practice they pay off in games more than pallets imo

Use them at spots someone would normally loop you around and don't be afraid to use them during chase from my experiences they can work when you place them in chase. Just place them in looping spots you think survivors will come to. They are very useful for killer shack TBH.
