Why is this a thing?
A couple of games now...Ive had killers who just walk up onto rocks..walk over the pallet..to another rock..and hit people..
Also ran into a killer who on the corn maps walked up the tractor stood on the edge of it wacked the tractor and then he WALKED on air onto the hay bale that was there and downed me through the vault..
My thing is, is that people are gonna be getting in trouble for DC'ing but why should someone stay in a game where the killer is using glitches to their advantage..I don't understand it..The one on the corn field said that its not a glitch its part of the game..Knows about it and still uses it every chance that he/she gets..
If I keep running into these types of things..Ill keep on DC'ing because its not fun for anyone but the killer..So please tell me that this is known and that someone is working on fixing it..because its killing the game for me..I have over 1k hours on PS4 with every character DLC and I have over 1k hours on PC with every character DLC..I love the game...BUT this is seriously steering me away from the game..

No its not lag..Or a lag switch..At all..And it may not be cool for me to dc but neither is someone walking on air to down someone..Its cheap and not fun..So why should I care?

Sounds like lag switch, never heard of hacks like this. There are glitches with these type of stuff though.

Oh no no, this is definitely possible.
OP is being vague about the Pallet/rock thing, but I've seen videos of the tractor trick from the Killer's PoV

Its hard to record every single game that I play. Because sometimes I can only play 1 or 2 games a day...The game with the tractor was the only game I got to play until now. Its just dumb..and makes me not wanna play :(

Well it doesn't seem like an intended path, so it's probably not fair.
We'll probably get an invisible wall there soon, or a new object blocking the path.

The one with the rock/pallet/rock he didn't even know it was a thing until it happened and i didn't either.
But the tractor one is the one that really p'd me off because the killer said that they knew about it and that it isn't a glitch and that nothing will happen to them for it because its apart of the game

I have no idea..and if people are getting this from streamers then that's even more messed up because killers sat there and bitched at survivors about the window vaults not working but killers can do this to survivors and all they can say to the survivors that are bitching about it is..get good..dont get downed..its stupid..

Well Im glad that there is video of it somewhere. Cause like I said, I can't always just record my videos half the time I don't remember to. But this is also something that needs to be fixed. So hopefully soon

Since you didn't give us any video to be sure what you mean it's hard to tell if you you met was an exploit but there are some unsafe vaults and pallets that killer can actually get over using high ground + lunge and it's tottaly legit skillful gameplay.
Some examples are the badham schoolhouse pallet can be traversed over the hole in the ground if timed correctly (not sure if it's not just for pig thou) or windows on Asylum main building or even the pallet besides stairs on meatplant.
You mentioned the tractor and that one is also legit since killer's using his lunge to get over to the other side and he can mess it up if he times it wrong. I doubt that these need changing since they are part of map knowledge and good timing.

The tractor trick has been possible for ages. It won’t be bannable because so many Killers have done it so many times. I wouldn’t be surprised if the devs are just letting it stay in as a feature now.

To my knowledge the bit with the tractor was popularized by OhTofu but I've seen numerous Youtubers/Streamers do it since as far back as April so if they devs intended on fixing it I think they'd of done it by now. Especially considering how they've "fixed" lesser things since then.
But I really don't care because I don't see it as a glitch or an exploit even, those tractors vaults have always been stupid strong and any vault/loop that's near infinite has no place in this game.

It isn't fair that survivors exploited the wake up bug and the sprint burst bug. While the over the rocks thing seems fishy the tractor thing imo is kinda fair as waiting at that vault on the haybale side is probably the safest position a survivor could be in against an m1 killer

That sir is not true..they have made it so that if the window is blocked and the survivor is standing on the hale bale the killer can hit the survivor..Ive done it as killer...now you may think it that this is a problem because it seems as if you're pro "help killers" but this isn't the way that its supposed to be. I just dont think enough people are even reporting it because they think that its useless.. But it does need fixed because killers are getting hits/downs when they are deserved and they are using a glitch to get it. Its stupid

That scenario only works under the pretense that the survivor stays at the bale of hay which any survivor worth their salt wouldn't and it isn't a hard "loop" or "mindgame" to understand. They're some of the safest vaults in the game. They force killers to either give up the chase or play into it which only results in the survivor gaining more ground than almost any other vault and wasting time a hell of a lot of time doing it. This "exploit" or "glitch" is a way around it that still takes time and effort to learn to pull off and even with that said, if the survivor is really good they can still get away without taking a hit.
This is also not taking the tractors with two vaults into consideration.
And no, people arent reporting it because they think "it's useless". They arent reporting it because they dont have a problem with it. If people didn't report things because they thought the devs didnt do anything than this forum wouldnt be filled with nearly as many people complaining, which is probably 80% of the General Discussion board.

If you're talking about hitting people on the hay bale it's quite possible to do whilst easier with Killers who have a lunge or dash like this.
It still possible to do if you can get your distancing and timing correct on a regular lunge.

My point is..Is that if you vault that window 3 times its blocked..On whatever side you're on..either the one that leads down or you're stuck on a hale bale..Now you're telling me that you (killer) can't get to the survivor in that time? Im one of the "boosted" I can't loop juke or any of that..But I can sometimes run the killer for a min..But to not even be aware that this is a problem or as people are putting it "built in because killers need it" it kinda did piss me off..Because he got a down that he shouldn't have got at all..He used part of the game that isn't even really there to get a down..to me that's cheap af..that's like all the killers that cry about ds and adrenaline being a "free pass" if it was that big of a problem then maybe they should change the way the tractor is all together because imo they shouldn't be able to walk on air to get a frickin down.

Or you could very simply not rely on at hay bale for cheap protection.
You know use it to make distance and don't spend your time just staying up there because it's extremely difficult for the killer to hit you

I actually wasn't on the hale bale I was on the other side..But I guess his lunge went through the vault and downed me..But that's not what Im bitching about..

And another thing..i only went up there to heal..I was in the corner of it I vaulted once then I went back through and I was starting to deal on the OTHER SIDE of the vault and he downed me..but you know..doesn't matter

Sounds like it would be a good idea to just steer clear of hay bales and tractors.

Vaulting it three times will always land you on the bale of hay (once on the hay from the tractor, second time to the tractor, then back to the hay) which will always put you in the position of: wait till the killer walks all the way up the tractor to the vault, then run off the hay and continue the chase.
And like I pointed out,the "exploit" isnt even 100% counterplay to sitting on the hay as a survivor thats also aware of it still has enough time to escape if they see the killer start to swing or even so much as sees the red stain. So no it's not a free pass.
And while we're on the subject and since you brought it up. DS and Adrenaline are not free passes either and I've actually pointed it out before in defense of survivor mains. Counterplay exists for both of the perks.

I've only done this ONCE, and I can say, it depends on the killer, and the rock geometry.
I mean, you survivors have infinite loops, so... I don't see this as a huge problem, because:
- you have to know the glitch
- you have to know the conditions to use the glitch
- you have to properly execute the glitch
- the survivor has to be near you while you try this
Chances are, if a good survivor sees a killer attempting this, they'll just run, because they realize that they have to move.

I can confirm this isnt lag or lag switch.. i just had a match where a killer did exactly this. I went up the tractor n climbed over the metal rail to that little slope bit and the killer literally walked on air round the tractor on top of the hay bales n downed me. He waited for me to go there n just walked over air and onto the hay bales.. pretty sure its a glitch. Never seen anyone do that before. Ive not been able to do that as a killer
