Too many useless survivor teachable perks (ideas for reworking the worst of them)

Survivors cost as much as killers do, but they dont have unique powers, attributes, nothing, only perks, thats why all survivors unique perks must be at least viable - to somehow justify their price. And in the game many survivors have useless or too situational perks. It shouldn't be. There are some ideas to make some of the worst perk slightly better.

Sole Survivor

Your Aura and Location cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 24/28/28 metres for each killed or sacrificed survivor and recieve next bonuses:

  • 2 killed or sacrificed survivor: (-/your scratch marks are always hidden from the Killer/your scratch marks are always hidden from the Killer)
  • 3 killed or sacrificed survivor: (-/-/the Killer suffers from the Blindness status effect)

--- Ace ---

Open-Handed

  • Increases aura reading ranges by 8/10/12 metres
  • Gain 25/30/35% more Bloodpoints in all categories

Ace in the Hole

  • When retrieving an item from a chest, there is a 100% chance that an add-on of "ultra rare" rarity or lower will be attached to it
  • 30/40/50% to find a second add-on of "uncommon" rarity or lower. This chance is affected by Luck.
  • Save 1 found add-on of higher rarity on death

Left Behind

The perk activates if you are the last survivor and injured or dying:

  • You cannot be downed by one hit from the Health state
  • Each 30/25/20 seconds Left Behind instantly and completely heals you
  • You wiggle 100/125/150% faster

Technician

  • Makes repairing generators completely silent
  • On a failed Repair Skill Check, there is a 80/90/100% chance that the Generator explosion (not regression) will be prevented.

Wake Up!

  • Exit Gates auras are revealed to you and you open them 21/27/33% faster
  • The hatch aura is revealed to you if it opened
  • You and your allies recover from all negative status effects (except "exposed") 10/12/15% faster


Pharmacy

  • You have a (20/25/25)% chance to find a Ranger Medkit from a chest. Otherwise Pharmacy guarantees an emergency Med-Kit on your completed chest search.
  • Find 2 add-ons of (common/common/uncommon rarity or lower).


Vigil

The perk activates when all other survivors staying alive are injured or downed but you still healthy or at least injured:

  • Your aura is revealed to all other survivors
  • You perform altruistic actions 30/40/50% quicker
  • Other dying survivors recover and crawl 30/40/50% faster
  • Increases your chances of being the Killer's obsession

Detective's Hunch

  • When completing agenerator, auras of unrepaired generators, chests and totems in range of 64 metres are revealed to you for 3/4/5 seconds
  • If a totem contains a Hex, its aura will be highlited in white when revealed

--- Kate ---

Boil Over

  • Obscures the Killers ability to see hook auras within 24/28/32 metres
  • Your struggling affects on the Killer are increased by 50/75/100%
  • Stun the Killer for 5 seconds when you escape its grasp without using a perk

--- Jane ---

Solidarity

  • When you heal other survivors, Solidarity activates and heals you at 100/150/200% of normal healing speed
  • Solidarity healing speed and time cannot be changed or affected


--- Ash ---

Buckle Up

  • The recovery progress of dying Survivors can be determined by the intensity of their auras
  • When you heal a survivor fro the dying state to injured, both the healed survivor and yourself see the Killer's aura for 5/6/7 seconds and your and healed survivor's movement speed is increased by 5/6/7% for 15 seconds

    I like the idea of technician making a generator sound silent that way it would require the killer to actively look at the gen visually to see if it's being worked on.


    With the same rules applying if somebody without technician works on the generator with you the generator sounds will return immediately and if you let go of the generator sounds will come back after 2 or 4 seconds

    Agreed. If the devs spent more time fixing the weaker perks instead of just nerfing whatever the crybabies are posting about this week, the game would be a lot more fun. The biggest reason why we have such "meta" perks, is because there are so many perks that just don't compete in most scenarios.
