This is pretty difficult, I’ve been drawing him a lot and I always draw it in parts as I have below (sorry if my writing is terrible) in any case I see the (let’s call it chestplate/hooded cowl/hood) is one continuous piece, it has the front face cover (initially I thought this was seperate but it isn’t) the top hood which I imagine can be raised and lowered, and the chest piece which is how the hood is attached/held in place with 2 straps either side that link the front and back parts, it looks strangely solid for a “hood” so I’d assume you’d probably need some structure or padding, same with the shoulder pads (which I also believe are separate from the coat and hood parts)

I would definitely suggest trying to make it yourself, it’s a custom job for sure, thinking on how I would start I would either buy a base hooded cowl (medieval style maybe) and restructure it (I.e. cut, sew, adjust and pad. Or build from the base up with a modified cowl pattern as below (lazy screen shot to show patterns exist online)

I would personally try to get a combination of a traditional hood and the below image (listed as a hooded medieval cowl), maybe by making it as two separate parts initially. It’s definitely a tough one, makes me almost want to try making it myself (but I’m still working on a Gotham scarecrow one so best not to get myself too excited or distracted trying to think of how to approach this one)

Hope this helps a little, (probably not but thought I’d try) I love trying to figure out designs of costumes. Sorry for the bad images above, it was really to just show an “idea” of what I was trying to describe and the first one was a lazy screenshot I took ages ago for reference just to show how I see the “parts”
