DEVS tell us NOW what u plan on Nurse
Devs pleeease don't work on Nurse and through her at us in a PTB "to test" her. We all know its going to be to late for big changes on her at this point and you would only tweak some numbers at best.
Tell us NOW what you try and we can discuss. Or AT LEAST discuss with a fog whisperer behind the doors. A fog whisperer who is known playing both sides on high skill level.

^ This ^ ... that's why the nerfs/tweaks or whatever you want to call them are so out of control at times. They dont know what they want to do until the day(s) of. Nothing is concrete nothing is iron clad. So really they CANT tell people NOW because the themselves dont KNOW yet. People just have to be patient, expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised when (if) it isnt all that bad.

Just wait. They might not even have every figured out that they want to do yet. Rushing them won't help. In fact don't complain until the PTB is out and you can actually test what is going on.

Dont demand things of the devs. This thread highlights one thing they learnt from this community which is to never give any details of a change until they are ready to be shared.
They will make the changes they deem fit and then allow the players to test it out for slight changes they see as needed as always.

nah, it's only the nurse lmao, shes honestly the most boring killer, I'm not even against an entire rework, literally all the over the killers are way more enjoyable and feel more rewarding to win with.
When I win with nurse it's just "oh, welp, thanks for the points".

Can we just stop treating this game as one big: Survivors vs Killers? Is it really that after more than three years this war has not bored anyone, it is more likely that we all play on both sides. I am convinced that everyone here is SURE mature, so let's stop acting like children who are at the parents' table and look with hatred on one or the other who got a larger portion of food from us. Really, it does not suit us.

You can't really run from her either, or hide from her, or drop pallets on her, or juke her.
Come to think of it, if you're a good nurse, not even a great nurse there isn't really anything you can do against her, but sure - lets keep her how she is because that's so fun.

The complete story of events that will happen once the Nurse (addon) rework is announced:
- Once the changes are announced, people will be either extremely glad or upset that she got changed.
- During the PTB people will give feedback about very real problems that she has.
- BHVR won't have enough time for big changes so the planned changes will go live half-baked.
- "We will monitor the data on how she performs and make adjustments where needed."
- She is in a bad state (whether gameplay wise or balance wise) anywhere from 1-6 months until she gets fixed.
Sounds about right.

I actually like that change. I don't think it should cancel it on the first swing but he shouldn't get to keep swinging with no cooldown, slowdown or any other negative affect.

"awful" nerf? This is barely making a difference. Of 100 frenzy attacks I miss maybe 1-2 times. And both was my fault. It's fine. Now unskilled players need to get skill. Simple, good idea imo.

If the developers listened to their loud vocal minority forum community for every single little thing, this game would be unplayable. Threads like these reek of the worst sort of entitlement.
We are not designers. We are not a balance committee. We are not owed some sort of heads-up so we can discuss or give a vote of approval. The PTB exists to test and evaluate upcoming changes. That's when we, the players, will see them in action.
I know that there are a lot of grievances in terms of how this-and-that gets done to DBD. I've brought up plenty of issues myself in the forums, and shared ideas to improve the game's quality of life. But I'm not owed some sort of say in it; none of us are. This is Behaviour Interactive's game.
I know it's hard for players to fathom, but we're not game designers. Some very high-level feedback, from the Scott Junds and whatnot of the DBD world, probably makes its way in from time to time, but that isn't this forum.

I like Nurse, your skill is reflected by how well you use her power. I do agree that certain add-ons need to be reworked such as extra blink range and extra blinks, but other than that, I prefer that her base power remains untouched.
Also, Nurse does have counter play, and I'm not going to say "Stealth" because we already had that discussion even through it's one of her counters. If you can read the Nurse you're going against, then adapt to her playstyle, you should be able to waste a decent amount of time on her until she adapts.

If you tend to get a lot of Nurses, I recommend you use these perks because they can throw off even the most seasoned Nurse players.
At the end of the day, if you don't know what you're doing against a Nurse, of course you're going to get destroyed by her. This also applies to killers as well, if you don't know what you're doing as the killer, you're going to get destroyed by the survivors.

I already got the inside scoop...
They gonna put her to a 1 blink nurse by default.... Which you'll be able to add on more blinks up to 3 max using addons.
Then change her default speed to be the same as the Hag.
Then she's gonna have a cooldown on her blinking... Which can be changed using addons.
Then... Shes gonna have addons that put Hindered, blindness, exhaustion and Mangle status effects when she hits you.
They gonna get rid of any negative effects on the addons too, so they become more useful.

Fun is subjective. Video proves one thing: most survivors don't know how to juke the nurse because they rely solely on pallets.

Senzu we are with OP add-ons getting a rework, I've seen the video too and the game didn't even reach the endgame.
We are afraid that her base might get touched when many people don't have a problem with it in the first place.

Skillful play should be required. They say its not competitive so they dont have to balance it but at the same time it is an asymmetrical game SO THEY NEED TO. I shouldnt be able to win if i suck ass and i shouldnt lose just because the game is imbalanced. I wanna lose and have it be my fault. Thats why I play spirit and just spirit. TrueTalent plays both sides. Not everyone just plays on the occasion. The only way to treat both sides is to have killers that are viable at all ranks and have a large learning curve. This means new survivors would play against killers that dont know their full capabilities yet just like the survivors. And high rank killers would know how to use the abilities better and those better survivors would know how to verse or be prepared to verse that. I have a discussion on making solid killers if u wanna check it.

its very true. Spirit, Billy, and nurse are the only killers i could play, lose, and say "thats my fault." Why? you ask? bc the game is poorly imbalanced and objectives go by so quick that every other killer needs hex: ruin to stand a chance against coordinated survivors. The game is asymmetrical which means it is needs to be balanced for high ranks. High ranks actually know what theyre doing so therefore thats how it should be, however crybaby survivor mains and crybaby killer mains just pick out the negatives of the other side instead of the negatives in BOTH SIDES. Yes there are only 3 viable killers in this game due to how quickly the survivors can do objectives and how lacking the other killers are at slowing the game + winning the chases. The game requires the survivors to make mistakes a majority of the time to lose instead of having the killer have skill to win. Survivors also have a crap ton of "second chance perks" which rewards poop gameplay. The new mettle change is trash because you take hits to earn it instead of having to lose a killer a bunch to earn it which would actually take skill.

I think SWF with keys are fine because they still have to do gens to be able to use it, the amount of times I've chased some SWFs trying to use key, and they use their key, I close it and kill the rest has been pretty high.
