I had to adapt to use moris...
Ok... I've played lots of games where everyone DC cause I brought in an ebony memento mori after I used it on the first survivor... So... I actually started giving everyone two hooks before doing the mori, not just for them not to DC and actually have a chance but also cause if I decided to mori them all as soon as I could I GOT NO PIPS and low BP!
I actually believe DCing should be punished harder, like fully de-ranking one level inmediatelly.
And for the BP, the Moris should give you extra BP... I actually stopped using my 14 saved ebony memento moris cause I didn't PIP up if I didn't give the survivors a chance... IDK, I use the moris to feel the power of being an OP killer you know? Not getting even one PIP up or even de-piping makes me not want to use the moris... I actually love playing as good as I can as a killer, but early moris not giving me anything postgame make me want to quit on them...

if you want it easy you can have it easy , but that comes with consecuences , until moris are nerfed i find fair those consecuences

I’m with you in that DCing should be punished harder, tho an immediate full de-rank will cause more problems then solve them. As far as mori’s go, I think they’re in as good of a stage as we can get. Using them before survivors can be hooked makes that game a cake walk and ruins the possibility of escape for anyone below red ranks. Conversely, while it is nice that you wait to use the mori, making it a two hook requirement makes it a fancier looking death hook animation yknow? And the mori’s should be used more for your satisfaction, not for bp. Otherwise everyone will be running mori’s and you’ll start losing your playerbase. If you don’t get enjoyment out of the mori, and only bp or stomping your opponents, then I’m sorry lol. But the best option is the one we have currently, at least to my knowledge.

When I first started playing I was so excited to get an ebony mori but now I pretty much never use them. Ebony Moris feel like a handicap you'd give a child who doesn't know how to play the game. It's like when I use to play Mortal Kombat with my little brother and I'd adjust the handicap to give him more health because that was the only way I could make it fair for him. That's what I think about when I see someone with an ebony mori.
The only time I might use an ebony mori now is if I see a group of survivors who were asses to me in a previous game and I just want to make things miserable for them.

Poor poor @Carlosylu You could be soo much happier if you just ignore the Emblem System altogether like I do. I may not always "pip"; I may not get so many Blood points as when you let the survivors "have a chance"; hell! I may not make The Entity happy some times. But playing like I want makes me have a good time and my barrels of salt are as full as ever!!!!
Enjoy those moris Carlosylu! Live the killer's life!!! CARPE MORI!

Intentional DCing should be punished, and it will be, plus the new husks ought to help with pips.
However, moris by their current design inhibit pipping anyway, nevermind that they're for cowards just as much as instaheals are :P

Fully de-ranking 1 level immediately sounds like a reward. I say bring it on :D

LOL! So, maybe making you stay in that specific rank without piping up or down for 10 games could do the trick? Or would this still be a reward? Just asking

Personally I find yellow mori's useless and red mori's over powered. Green mori's though.. just right <3

Ideally the husks should be moriable even if you don't have a Mori equipped. Would make Mori dailies less of a hassle if people DC on first down, and even without a Mori I'd still be able to take out some frustration/anger on the husk. Weird thing to say but I'd feel less irritated about a survivor ragequitting if I have the option to execute them because I like the Mori animations.

People often DC just to de-rank, after you get the achievement there's very little reward for staying in Red ranks. At least until they release those upcoming changes, until then anything involving De-ranking with dcing will only inadvertently encourage more dcing
Mainly I just stay away from moris, sucks if you get hit and it forces the most boring thing to deal with. Gen Rush
1 -
Sometimes you get lucky and a survivor disconects after you down them just because you played a mori, they don't know its a boring yellow one
2 -
I'm assuming he means some people want to de rank for easier and more enjoyable games. Which could actually encourage dcing because instead of having to play a full game to only lose one pip, you can just dc right away and lose a full rank making it much easier on them. Which is why instead of de ranking them, it should just ban them from playing for a certain amount of time like most games

@Carlosylu Bruh, just stop being a baby, all your discussions are just more and more whines and complaints
For the sake of me and others, please grow up and make an actual discussion possible.
"OMG, I brought an Ebony mori one game and Survivors DC'd!"
You're not special, this has happened to pretty much everyone.

Yeah, I had a pig game yesterday where I had 9 hooks and someone died to my bear traps. I ended up getting a safety pip because bear traps death = Mori in the games eyes and using moris gives you a lot of negative points so it's hard to pip. Sucks because I didn't even mori them, and I played well.
If you mori someone you better have gotten 10 hooks that game because you aren't piping . You might even depip. I notice the ranking system is entirely based on how many hooks you got and all I can deduct from the game I played yesterday is that moris will subtract your hook points at the end of the game.
Pretty dumb.

@Chaddad2169 Sir, and I quote, "A discussion is the action or process of talking about something in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas.". That's exactly my point, to share facts and see other people's point of view, if you don't like my posts you can actually make a desition of your own and not read them... I mean, thanks for being a follower ("all your discussions" which means you've read them), but I mean no harm but to express my thoughts on a game I LOVE and play every day, if I get the devs to change something out of my oppinion to improve the game that would be awesome, but if not, that's the point of a forum, to DISCUSS. By the way... Growing up has more to do with being able to form arguments and defend your ideas or facts you're against than being someone who just says "stop whining". Have a good day sir.

Moris are for fun, not for pipping. I've gotten max points on sacrifice category while using moris. It's just about how you use them.
DCs should be punished with a temporary gameplay ban after a few times. Pipping just doesn't matter to some people.

There is no achievement for Xbox. I don't know about PS4. So there is no incentive to stay in Red ranks on console anyway.
2 -
Green moris are bae, yellow is meh, rewards you for doing your job, like Adrenaline, Red is where I wish there should be a safe pip guarantee for killed survivors, why to many times have I lost pips due to Ebony moris :( When I die to green or yellow moris, I get safe pips or even one pip, but Ebony moris just spells out that I will lose a pip no matter what.

I use moris based on how game goes. So it's close to tactic you've adopted. I don't want survs to be discouraged by fast kill, but if they get fast gens I don't hold back.

Or survivors stop being a bunch of babies when a mori is brought in. This happens to everybody.
I remember when I got flamed for bringing an ebony mori into the game. Funny part was, I didn’t have one. It was my fault for bringing in devour hope and it actually surviving until the end. Not my fault they cannot cleanse totems and cause me to gain a mori in the process. I even pointed out they could see it on the end game screen, but they were too busy barking their usual nonsense.
I do agree that D/Cs need to be punished more severely, though.

In terms of Mori and it giving extra BP I think it would encourage using them which isn't really a good thing.
If it would give extra BP I'd look into BHVR's other game, DeathGarden. Originally hunters could execute on first down, but were encouraged to slug and let the scav get revived which builds a point multiplier the more downs you have until you start killin'. This was changed so you have to recycle the scav (Respawn them) once before you can actually execute them. No idea if the point multiplier thing is still in the game.
Ideally something similar can be done with Mori's. You tunnel off the hook to mori people as fast as possible as early as possible and as often as possible (With an Ebony)? No point bonus. You wait until later in the match to use it, only using it on people have been hooked twice and on deathhook? Big point bonus.
