In the movie it hints to Michael surviving, from the book, it says that the mask melted to his face, becoming one with him and his coveralls were fireproof, so maybe burn marks will be on the mask now? He powered through the bars and broke through to escape.


My belief is that around the end of the Myers vs. Strode fight, they will have a knife fight like they planned before before it was rescripted due to it seeming as bad. Knife on Knife, old lady vs. old man.

    Life long Halloween fan here. I wasn't a fan of the 2018 film, so I never wanted a sequel, let alone 2. I feel they should have killed Laurie at the end of the 2018 film, and just ended it there. Regardless, I feel they have a chance to address the various issues 2018 had with these 2 films like show Michael less, add darker lighting, let Michael actually stalk people. In any case, Laurie NEEDS to die. In terms of the mask, I personally hope that he steals a new, clean white mask. I never was a fan of the dirty, grungy, masks like Rob Zombie and 2018.

    You know a clutch final knife fight was all I really wanted to see in the 2018 movie *sheds single tear* I’m actually kinda interested in seeing a burnt mask merged with face look, it will be one of the biggest variations we’ve seen in the series and would kind of make sense if you take latex to extreme heat. Kinda symbolic in a way too when you think about it.

    It could be something like Michael Myers outplays Laurie and escapes her traps she planned for years, which put her into an anxious and fear stricken state to where she feels her chances to stop Michael may not have any play over her survival, she is only doing the inevitable by using the last of her energy in a knife fight, he gets her family to leave while she would leave to confront Myers in a better spot. She ran through a set of woods after being stabbed in her right shoulder by Michael, she forced herself off the blade. Michael saw Laurie Strode run from her this time. This made his hand tighten around the handle of his blade. Laurie heard ominous breathing from all around her in the forest, she had to stay strong and resilient as a sole Survivor, she made it then, and she could make it now. She made it up to a highway, using that as her advantage. She waited for Michael to peak her head above the way she came, she was exhausted. Little did she know that was not the way Michael walked up.
