Opinion about the Spirit and the counter-game against him. (Devs, pay attention to my question too)
Suppose that an experienced killer plays with you by default and each of them has a counter-game in which you can at least somehow extend the chase and buy time for the team, (It should be so in a normal game - I should at least something to oppose the enemy) except for the nurse with additional blinks and add-ons at a range. Everything is clear with the nurse, the question is not about her now. And the Spirit.
Well, in front of you in the game is an experienced killer Spirit. And well, let him have a “free” second hit, if I have no iron will, it's like a legion - a “free” first hit.
But then I have to counter the killer with something on the first hit, so as not to reach a wounded state. Suppose you and the killer are standing on opposite sides of the thrown pallet. Earlier, at a distance of eight meters, you heard how the Spirit enters the phase and then you played the "mind games", either you deceive him, or he you, and that was normal. Then, for some reason, the developers removed it and only the killer deceives you, and you can’t do anything and you can only hope for an accident that you might be lucky.
So what is the question? I don’t understand something and just don’t know how to play against this killer or is he just broken? If the first option, then advise me an effective counter-game, maybe I'm just wrong?
(And no, don’t advise me to take “Spine Chill”, the player should have the opportunity to counter-play without having to take any perks, especially since he doesn’t always help. And of course, stealth, there’s nothing more boring than stealth in this the game, including when playing for the killer, the question of the already begun chase)

Spirit is female to begin with.
And she has a very simple counter. Just guess what she's gonna do and use the vaccum sound to guess if she's coming towards you. Spirit isn't OP , except when using Prayer Beads.

I agree that spirit is very strong, but she has some counter play, like every other killer not named omega-blink nurse. one of them is scratch mark juke.
lets suppose that you and the spirit stand on the opposite sides of a pallet. You can’t tell if she’s phasing, but you can trick her if she’s actually phasing. Start by running away from the pallet, forcing her to phase if she wants to catch you, and after a few seconds mess with her. Run back the way you came, change direction and return, and walk in a different direction. It should make reading your steps harder for the spirit, but be careful: experienced spirits will try to “bump” into you in order to find you.
finally, learn the spirit you are playing against. Some spirits will phase immediately, some will wait for you to walk to near them and hit you, and some will wait for you to vault the pallet. Learning the player is a great way to counter them.

English is not my native language, maybe I missed something. It doesn’t matter, the main thing is that you understand me.
Your advice is good in THEORY. Thanks.
I tried something like that, but in practice it didn’t work out very well. But anyway, thanks for the advice.
I looked at the forum a bit, it seems that almost no one is complaining about this killer anymore, everyone is happy with everything, I'm just the one who is bad against her.

Spirit isn't a "him" to begin with.
Also, a lot of people complain and DC against Spirit, so you are not the only one.
You can counter Spirit even without perks, but that depends on a lot of things, like your skill and her skill level and even luck sometimes.
I suggest you to take Iron Will, so you can actually have a chance against her even when you are injured, Spine Chill is also good, but Iron Will is more needed. Also, IW is a decent perk against any killer not named Plague.
Also, some of her add-ons combo are pretty opressive, like Wakizashi Saya + Bloody Hair Brooch, she can guarantee free hits with these at almost any loop and no skill is needed whatsoever.
