So I woke up with this survivor and killer concept today

I spent the whole day drawing them, but I've got to a point that it doesn't really matter, so I've just skipped to do the perks and the killer ability.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the images used on the Perks and Killer Power. All images used that are not mine were used in purpose to illustrate and give an idea of how it would look like. Hope you guys enjoy :) (and also, sorry for my English)

EDIT: I've updated Medusa's Wink petrification time, it looks more balanced now, thank you for the feedback :)

So this is the sketch of them (yes I lost my motivation and a lot of time that's why I haven't finished):

So, I haven't came up with names to them besides The Explorer for the survivor and The Statue for the killer but I guess it doesn't really matter, neither. As a player of this game I don't see much effort in Lore and so didn't I.

But for the ones who like it, let's say that The Explorer got into a forest, like any other adventures of him, and he got lost for a while. After hours walking and escaping from danger he finds a campfire with some people around it, and a feeling in his gut saying something was really really messed up. The Statue wasn't a statue, she had a life, she was a human, but her pursuit for pure and real truth of the living and not-living things actually had results, results that can't be told to anyone and can't be said out loud... And she discovered that after she was already turned into stone, keeping all her discovery to herself, for centuries. She was found by the followers of the Entity recently while they were searching for more realms, spreading the Entity's word. Once the statue were brought back to their realms, it started to act weird, some said hearing it weeping, other said seeing her moving, but one thing's true... People started turning into stone... One by one.

So now I will explore the perks that I've created for them, talking about it and how it could work in the game, so sit back, adjust your screen bright and let's continue :)

The Explorer's Perks

So, his 3 teachable perks are pretty thematic, I really enjoyed brainstorming them :) (ps I hadn't really payed attention to perk artwork when I did these, that's why it looks kinda incomplete... I forgot the black shade outlining the white drawing u.u sorry for that....) I shall explain them and their mechanics now:

Lv30 - Clear Exposure

You are always prepared for anything with your binoculars. Clear Exposure increases your Field of View in 3 / 5 / 10 ° when not in a chase, but also makes your scratch marks less spread out and it gets moderately more visible.

Commentary: Yes, it is a Monitor&Abuse for survivor, but I really like the idea of the perk. You know, if the BW thing really happens and the perks become tier-less, it would be great if the character that owns the perk gets the tier 3 and the others survivors get tier 1 our perhaps 2, so this perk for The Explorer would give him an increase of 10° in his FoV, while the other survivors that use it would get 3°, or maybe 5°. It would make the game more balanced and maining one survivor will really be a thing.

Lv35 - Nature's Song

By spending most of your time in the nature, you've learned to observe and appreciate it's universal symphony. Crows alert you whenever the killer is nearby in a 20 / 24 / 28 meters range.

Commentary: So this is basically a Nurse's Calling for survivor, mixing it with that other killer perk that basically does the same thing. I've really wanted these two perks to be an adaptation of the killers' ones to survivor because I want to see different perk combinations in the game, the meta ones are just meh... I like trying new and funny things. I came up with these perks thinking in a super stealth build, and that would be interesting, a really immersive gameplay.

Lv40 - Hop Up

By living among the nature, you've got yourself to learn different ways to escape danger. Hop Up grants the survivor the ability to climb trees. Climbing a tree gives you exhaustion for 50 / 35 / 20 seconds after climbing the tree.

Commentary: Now this perk I really really liked having the idea. The mechanic would be like, you take 3~4 seconds to climb a tree, while up there, if you're injured, you make no scratch marks, but you still grunt (even though you're hurt). The killer shall kick the tree using the secondary action button (spacebar on PC) making you fall directly into the dying state, BUT he can only do it if he STOPS near to the tree, SO if he's walking the screen clue will not pop up, just like when you're walking near a bear trap, it only shows to disarm when you stop moving. NOW when you leave the tree, it will count as if you're falling from a high place, so you can combo with balance landing, or at least try xD you just gotta wait at least 20 sec.

So, that's all for the survivor, let's jump into the killer absolutely right now ~~

The Stone Power and Perks

Actually I've decided making one little chance, reducing the fountains from 3 to 2, as you can read below:

ZEPHYR'S JAR

For always seeking infinite power, all terror and despair got locked inside a jar. The Statue is a weeping ghost locked in the form of a statue that lingers on the realms taking care of the jar by stopping the survivors from scaping, turning them into stone and delaying their time to complete their objectives.

At the beginning of the trial, 4 statues and 2 fountains are placed around the map. The statues won't move until they catch a survivor in it's own field view, when this happen it starts following the survivor in a slow speed. When a statue touch a survivor they become stone. The Statue can pick up survivors who turned into stone and hook them. The fountains contain holy water that can be used to turn survivors back to normal.

The Statue is invisible, has no red stain and cannot attack survivors while invisible to them. Only survivors that are into the stone state can see The Statue.

● Only survivors that aren't stone can pick up holy water in one of the fountains around the map to turn the stone survivor into normal again.

● Survivor can make statues stop following them while looking direct at them in a cone of 45º from the character.

The Statue can see statues aura in a 214 meter radius and can possess them. While possessing a statue, it movement speed will be reduced and it will be able to attack survivors, not turning them into stone. Just like the other statues, The Statue will not be able to walk while a survivor is looking directly at them.

Commentary: So this power is pretty interesting, I can really see a survivor attracting more than one statue at the same time. You might say she is weak, maybe she is, but she is all mind game, and she have add-ons and perks that will help her A LOT. I was thinking about add-ons that increase the number of statues, from common to ultra rare, one ultra rare that reduces to 1 fountain in the game, add-ons that increase speed of the statues, decrease the radius of detection of the statues, some that reduces the possession time, AND also an ultra rare one that the statues can track survivors by hearing them making fast actions or missing skill checks. I actually thought of making it part of the power, but I thought it would be WAY TOO OP so I backed and decided to make it an add-on.... What do you guys think? I really would like to know.

Lv30 - Hex: Intense Pray

A Hex is being charged by the desperation and despair of the survivors, giving them a really hard time to recompose themselves. When the end game collapse starts, if there's a dull totem on the map, this Hex applies to it. For each survivor alive im the trial, the end game collapse's time is reduced in 6 / 8 / 10 %.

Commentary: Yeee you might say this is noed 2.0 but I really like noed idea, and yeah there's still the possibility of escaping even with around 2 minutes of EGC. This perk was created to play around the EGC, the first time I though of it I had usef 5/10/15% but that's just A LOT, I really wanted to make so the survivors would only open the exit gates of they were REALLY ready to escape, but 60% of time reduction was a little too much imo. Cleansing this totem is useless, unless for bp, because the hex activates for when the EGC pops, counting the amount of survivors alive in the trial at that moment, so you won't get more time if you cleanse it.

Lv35 - Medusa's Wink

Your look petrifies anyone that gazes into it. Whenever you see survivor auras from within a 20 / 24 / 28 meter radius, you petrify them for 1 / 2 / 3 seconds. Medusa's Wink has a cooldown of 80 / 60 / 40 seconds.

Commentary: Nurse isn't even nerfed but I know I saved her... Or maybe I broke her more... I don't have much to say, this works for The Statue when she is invisible and this gives killer mains a sweet taste in their life. This perk also cannot be nerfed nor buffed.

Lv40 - Desperate Hour

You're obsessed with your belongings. Survivors that interact 3 / 2 / 1 time(s) with your belongings will consume them and they won't be able to interact with them for the rest of the trial. This won't affect your interactions with your belongings.

Commentary: And now I saved ms.Piggy \o/ I can clearly see myself being the lucky survivor who had to run a [badword] marathon, going through all Jigsaw Boxes and removing the god[badword] Reversed Bear Trap in the very last one and then getting another party's hat... But oh... Looks like I can't remove anymore!!!! Now imagine this with only ONE fountain as The Statue, once all survivors are stone, you win... Or you lose a pip o.O who knows. This also works on disarming The Trapper's traps and curing The Plague's sickness (this actually helps the survivors when vsing The Plague.... But oh well.... Can't save everyone :/ )

Sooo what you guys think?? I really would like to get feedback of everything :) Thank you all for reading and staying with me so far, hope you enjoyed ♡

tl;dr: just read it, I would really really appreciate <3

sooo, i have read all of the hard works you have doing... BUT, their is one perks that destroy all of the works you do. SPINE CHILL lalala ! if survivor have this perk, your killer gets smooched on the face very hard, Survivors know they are watched, and run or go sneaky as #########. your killer perk Medusa winks is too op, i do this if you be me 1/2/3 because second in dead by daylight are what can kill or save survivor and destroy the game of a killer.

Oh, but Spine Chill only works for the killer, right? The Statue's statues shouldn't activate the perk unless they're possessed by the killer. But that's actually not a problem at all :) it would be great seeing a change in the meta anyways.

And about Medusa's Wink, well yeah it might need a nerf, because 5 seconds might be really a little too much, Decisive Strike stuns for 3 seconds right? I shall update the Perk's stats, thank you :) the
