Can a PS4 spirit main help me git gud?
I need to git gud against spirit but can never find her anymore, anyone wanna help me “git gud” in a kyf? I think it’d be easier to play against her to learn counter play than to read all the guides I see.

There is no counterplay. If it's a good Spirit, you lose. Best case is to run Iron Will and when you suspect she's phasing, move randomly to spread out your scratch marks. It's a guessing game at best then. Just hope she doesn't run into you or sense you.

Slow vaulting and then running can buy you some time if she's phasing and you're healthy. If you're injured and she has dem airpods in then there is very little counter play. Not having her find you in the first place is the way to go.

Much like a good Nurse most of it comes down to small mindgames/outplays. If the Spirit player you are against is good then most of your chases will come down to predictions. The only advise I can offer would be perk selections.
Iron Will helps keep you sort of hidden from a Spirit with good ears.
Q&Q can help you get over a pallet or window without alerting the Spirit of what you have done. Additionally if the Spirit now knows you have Q&Q you can fake a vault (while she is in Spirit world) and walk away from the pallet/window without ever having gone over it.
Then you have Lithe and anything that can hide/reduce your tracks.
A little bonus tip would be to play ACE as for some reason he has the quietest footsteps of any other survivor.
Keep in mind these will only help take a bit of the edge off the mindgames/predictions you must make.
Regardless no two "good" Spirit players will make the same predictions/mindgames/outplays.
The only true way to beat Spirit easily is to play Spirit yourself ^.~

I’ve went through several stages of maining spirit and still can’t counter her. I do run iron will,spine chill, q&q and head on.

Best things to do:
Run iron will (good against all killers, EXTREMELY good against Spirit).
Move sporadically, unpredictable movements will make it very difficult for the killer to figure out what you are trying to do.
If they are phasing at a jungle gym, I cannot stress this enough, USE LOCKERS, nobody ever expects a play like this as people rarely hide in lockers and will cause the killer to think that they simply lost your scratch marks.
Perks which hide scratch marks are also great, Dance With Me and Lightweight make tracking extremely difficult. You can even run one way, stop and walk the other way, giving the killer false information.

As a Spirit main on PC, I will tell you that I get confused most often by survivors who stop running, and double back while walking.
If you do this and run Iron Will (and I'm not running Stridor), it takes time for me to realize what just happened and course-correct. By then, you probably have a big distance advantage again, and my power is on cooldown.

There is no counter play outside of Iron Will. If you don't have Iron Will, there's nothing you can do besides hope the Spirit is deaf or completely clueless.

Just because you cant braindead loopy loop her doesnt mean that theres no counter play. You want to delay that first hit for as long as possible, as soon as you get hit it gets really difficult, especially without Iron Will. Dont hug the loops, because Spirits look for that collision. It's all about mindgames, i wish all killers were like this instead of "i see you, you see me, now lets run in circles so i can drop palleh palleh and loopy loop you"

Why do you have to get so defensive? It's fine if she has no counterplay. What you listed is not counterplay. It's a delay to a good Spirit catching you. Which is inevitable, and that's fine, but it's not counterplay. Yes, mindgaming does help, but if it's a good Spirit it is literally a 50/50 chance that she will or will not catch you. And going against her without Iron Will is not difficult, it's impossible. Nothing you can do to stop her from catching you. I main Spirit myself, and I run Iron Will just so I can have a chance to juke her. Whenever I play Spirit, if a survivor doesn't have Iron Will, I catch them every time. It's sad that as soon as you see a post you disagree with, you become extremely toxic for no reason. And you call survivor mains toxic.

Though I’m not a Spirreh main I can give you a tip - fiddling with some settings in the PS4 menu, you can make it so when headphones are plugged in, all system (game, party etc) audio will go through them. Get a good set of headphones, plug em into your controller, and crank the volume, while playing Killer or Survivor. Sound is very important in this game.

1- Well its not a 1v1 right? its a 4v1... youre supposed to be caught atleast 1 or 2 times. Even then a killer still loses if everyone escapes. Yet a survivor can win if he/she dies. Its not supposed to be a 1v1 all game with 4 tbags at the exit gate.

Flashlights also aren’t a direct counter to hag if she knows where to put traps. Iron will isn’t a direct counter since you can also hear footsteps, against Spirit you’ll need to 1- use strong windows
2- although this counter has a 50/50 chance, throw a pallet down where you think she is.
3- I bring spine chill and iron will so due to spine chill I’ll know if she is phasing to me so I can constantly double back and turn in different directions. This confuses a lot of spirit players.

Flashlights + Object of Depression is a direct counter to Hag, because no matter how good she is at putting traps, you will still find them regardless with Object.
