Can DS not work with Deliverance?
When used in tandem is insane, tbh DS should only activate when someone else Unhooks you, not when you unhook yourself. Just my opinion.

- Whenever the case arises, drop YOLO unhooked people in order to deny Deliverance to hook farmers
- For those that legitimately obtained their Deliverance, you can slug and take the "broken" status as a 1 min clock. It's a very popular perk combo.

Isn't that the whole purpose of perks? That they are very strong together? I base my perk load-out on the other perks too, so my build gets stronger and my chances of survival are bigger. Killers do that too, with Ruin and Thrill Of The Hunt for example. It's using the given space logically.

Honestly I’m fine with it only because you can counter it by slugging the person and because many survivors who bring this combo have most likely been in situations where they died on first hook or were camped to death that no one bothered to save.
It’s a very self dependable combo.

DS should be available for use until a different survivor is hooked, or they are fully healed. Anti-tunnel accomplished, and all the DS slugs can leave happy little trails on the ground together

Yo, I just tried that build today, and it's super fun! I used a Jigsaw piece and sabotaged a hook by the exit gate. The killer spent four gens trying to hook me, then gave up.

Oh, if we're removing fun/positive interactions, how about making iron maiden not speed up huntress reloading her hatchets and only have it apply for searching lockers while she's already full up =P

If someone uses Deliverance assume they have DS as long as there's an obsession. Sure it's frustrating when they do it near a gate and can just run out, but they made it to the end of the match without getting hooked prior so it's not like they didn't have to set it up.
In any other situation it's not that different to them just getting unhooked normally.

Yeah it works at green/purple ranks against solo survivors., but when you get in the red ranks and you meet 4ds swf,no it doesn't work, its the reality.
They will either run unbreakable (2 of them rarely) but they will get picked up in 2 seconds and go sit on gens, with 5-6 mins matches you can't give free saves like that, it doesn't ######### work like that.

I’m at red ranks, it still works. Slugging also applies pressure and while that person is being picked up you can chase someone else.

I've never once seen that combo personally. Regardless, these are all perks that can only be used once in limited situations. A lot of the time you'll never be able to use one of them, never mind all three.

You forget the most important detail on why DS is stupid, its not because of what it does, it because it lasts an entire minute, WHILE THE GAMES LASTS 5 MINUTES.
Show me how god tier you are at killer, take your phone, put a timer and usually around 6 mins (my average game length, even recorded it), at 6 mins timer DC right there and tell me how you did, tell me if you piped.
I'm going to skip all over that and say that you didnt.
Reality=games to short you can slug DS=6mins=can't give free saves in 6 mins=you lose

I’ve already explained on this forum why I can’t record my gameplay, my games last longer than five minutes, mine usually averages ten minutes unless I play Nurse.
Maybe you could show me your gameplay so I can tell you where you’re going wrong.

Benn rank 1 since june 2016 every season, 2000 hrs across 2 accounts p3 50 every killer almost all perks, 70% playing killer, if i were a bad killer i wouldn't be rank 1 every season, idk maybe i'm wrong.
I do 4k about 95%+, they usually escape tru the hatch if they bring a key.
I'm complaining about DS because tunneling someone is not fun, and with a 5 mins match you cant, you cannot give free saves. it doesn't work, yesterday i played 10 matches out of them 6 were around 6-7 mins, 2 of them were 10+, and the other around 8 mins, you cant give survivors these kind of perks when the game is 6 ######### minutes.
BTW i don't play nurse/hillbilly i feel like they are overpowered, maybe i should stfu and play only them 2.

Rank has always been a time thing, not necessarily representing skill.

I also win most of my killer games, keys can be a killer but eh, I don’t see ‘em much tbh.

They aren’t exactly ‘free’ saves, slugging if you know where someone else is is an easy way to apply pressure and the only time my games are that short is whenever survivors are better than me.

I agree about nurse being OP but I don’t feel the same about billy, I can still deal with DS as Wraith or LF.

I do play all other killers besides those 2 mentioned, i do deal with DS fine is just when you mixed adrenaline ds and bt + gen rush match the whole fun goes out the window.
Honestly if no1 is near in the area i will pick up the ds and just tunnel the guy, get someone out of the game the best way to apply pressure by killing 1 survivor, yeah it sucks to tunnel but 5 mins match isn't fun either.

I agree that tunneling someone out ASAP is the best way to apply pressure, I generally choose not to do it (unless people unhook while I’m in the area.).

Tunneling works because it is pretty damn easy to do in this game. If someone wants to spend half their slots on one shot perks that have requirements that are easy to foil, more power to them. This seems more like a combination a solo would use anyway.

It is still a pretty disgusting, uncounterable combo. I remember when people used to run that+MoM when Ash came out. After the DS you'd basically become healthy and needed to be hit twice.

I would argue that this interaction is fine. They are both edge case, one-time perks that have specific activation requirements, and -- in the scenario you have described -- they are doing their intended job, specifically functioning as anti-tunneling tools.
If a survivor is so deeply concerned about tunneling that they have dedicated half their build to countering this specific scenario... why not?

Unhook yourself and run into locker and killer is in lose / lose situation. Wait 50 seconds till ds runs out, eat ds or go pressure gens without hook?
No good outcome for killer.

Is this an a joke? They both are one - time perks. They are doing their job. And yep, you may get only 2 of those in the match, at once. Also, i dont see a problem, cause you could just slug, or go for someone else instead of tunneling one survivor. If you dont like something, it doesnt mean that this should be restricted.

Deliverance is a good anti camp perk, followed by a needed anti tunnel perk like DS when the killer actually hard camps since you can't give yourself bt. U just want an ez cheap kill. Don't camp, don't tunnel and slug. It's so simple but people still keep crying left and right about DS. When is this going to stop finally?? DS is fine.
