MoM was Destroyed, And needs a proper rework.
MoM did need a nerf. But it was made utterly useless, Since the nerf (Mostly Playing the Killer side) I haven't seen MoM popped once. Not a single time since that patch all those months ago. Which sucks because Ash is my favorite survivor character by far. And was the only one I bought with cash. Now all of his perks are useless, Other than Flip Flop but that only works on very rare occasions.

Flip flop it's even too weak to pay a character. We told you "be careful for what you wish and pay attention to all situations."
Everyone was screaming for a nerf, but never came with a proper solution (atleast the majority). So they came with the "protection hits", some people argue that wasn't the right choice for how protection hits are trash, but they didn't listen.

Mettle of man was destined for a nerf the moment it was leaked...its benafit is too powerful and we need less perks like it not more, that being said..its still very possible to use it's just that survivors (especially solos) dont play the way mettle requires to work

They should make it so it works for save unhooks and protection hits.

I'll play devil's advocate here:
You only want a rework because of how strong it use to be. You want another crutch perk that's easy mode for survivors. How do I know? Because you aren't proposing buffs for other survivor perks that have been useless for even longer than MoM was. When the dynamic of a modern DBD trial is completing gens as fast as possible (and they are fast, you know this already), adding perks like MoM (with absolute no counterplay other for the killer to just "suck it up") just makes the trial a little ridiculous. Let's be honest here, we know certain things should have never been implemented in the game, and MoM was one of them.

After having played this game for a bit over 1k hours, I've mostly played killer ( most likely 900ish of those hours), And yea I was upset that I spent money on a character thats perks were made nearly useless. Am I saying it needs to be a crutch perk, no. Because the game already has those (noed, adrenalin, etc). What I'm saying is that other licenced survivors perks are at least usable and even strong aka Lauries perks

"unhooks and protection" are waaaay to easy and killer have to pick 2 poisons: "Get rekt by Borrow Time and DS and waste time for tunneling" and "Get rekt by MoM and waste time for NOT tunneling"

My exact thought as well. The nerf to only Protection hits was enough, there was no reason to also remove it working while healthy like they were going to do. Also no reason to have the aura downside anymore either. This fix would at least make it somewhat usable as opposed to worthless. Who in their right mind take the effort and time (let’s not forget healing in between hits!) to give 3 “extra” hits, to get 1 back but ONLY while injured. It makes no sense. At least with instadown protection, you could see a little benefit in taking a shot with it sometimes.

Yes the perk was good.
Yes they have a right to change anything as they see fit.
Yes they can destroy a perk if they feel like it.
But the way this DLC was handled just goes to show, BHVR are not to be trusted. Anyone paying for anything at this point can only blame themselves if they get screwed now.

The concept wasnt necesarily bullshit, it was actually just wanting players to play more killers then just a M1 killer and what the devs wanted was fopr more people to use their power instead of just m1ing, and it wasnt a ######### concept that shouldnt exist being a survivor main i usually dont use crutch perks except for deadhard MOM was mostdefinatly a crutch but what a good change would be is to make mom activate on a key for

It doesn eed a rework, no one uses it because frankly no one wants to take hits for half the game just to prevent one noed hit

No, its really not You probably dont think about the other side too much if you think like that Tell me how many people you've seen use it since the nerf? No one because its not viable If you really think its good Use MoM if one of your standered builds and tell me how many times you can get it to proc, The only time i got it to proc after the nerf was in a farm game, and i didnt even mean to have it on, i had it on ace and didnt play him after the nerf.

Maybe they could re-purpose the old borrowed time effect for it? Set MoM back to it's initial state, but instead of completely tanking a hit, you go into the old BT state. This would make it decent enough to save you sometimes, but might just result in you either being forced to run SC or a medkit with it and heal an extra health state or get downed in 30 later. This still gives you a free hit without taking away all of the killer's pressure on you since you need to heal yourself twice to become healthy.
