Blacklisted
Ok ok hear me out for a second.
I think my account has been blacklisted.
I play on PS4. Have the game since day one and used to play it every single day all the way up till February this year.
Survivor queue times have killed the game for me. I’ve to wait 15-35 mins to find games and I’ve even proof that during events I’ve been forced to wait 20-40 mins to get games.
But here’s the catch. My brother. Who lives in the same house as me. Has a weaker internet connection can find games in 5-10 minutes.
So I wanna know what the hell is going on ? I doubt it’s the case but DBD have I been blacklisted or something ?

Not lately I haven’t played as survivor properly since may so I’m stuck at rank 15 same as him.

Try reinstalling maybe. Blacklisted isn't a thing, just bans, which you'd know if you were.

I can find killer games no issue aswell so it’s not my internet. I dunno. The games being killed off by it for me. I just hope that dedicated servers sort it really

If you are nearly the same rank, do you play at different times of the day? I notice that the time of day influences my queue time.
Edit: I assume you both play solo surv and not SWF.

Sorry for late reply. We play Solo and SWF. Solo he gets games short time. He gets queued up with me and it takes my amount of time.

Does he have a wired connection or are both of you WiFi? try getting a Ethernet cable for yours if not and also test your network connection and make sure you have a good NAT type , having a bad NAT type can cause your game to not connect to other players properly and or make it so you can't play with some people so he may have a better NAT type on his console? I'm not sure but I'd definitely give it a shot

Not only do different ranks have different queue times, queue times also differ between solo and SWF. (And it also matters if it's a 2-, 3- or 4-men-SWF.) Everything influences the matchmaking.
