Monstrous Shrine rework idea.
Simple. If possible on the map, Both basements spawn in at once. The perk would actually have use outside of memes.
Edit. Tier wise, the extra basement would have 2/3/4 hooks.

But what would the tiers be? Would you still have the same effects but it also makes 2 Basements?
This would be cool on Basement builds because certain maps are impossible to play that way, like Yamoaka, Azarov's, and any map where the two buildings are too far from each other.

Ah I see, the 2nd Basement would be less powerful as the 1st until tier 3. That's probably one of the better tiers i've seen lately actually, it provides an incredible power, like a 2nd Basement, but that 2nd is inferior to the 1st until tier 3; love it.

The affect it has now is trash and even if all the hooks had the affect it wouldn't be worth a perk slot.

I think the double basement idea would be amazing ! But I think it would b cool if the tiers were -make both basements 50 60% 70% longer . So you have to go deeper into the basement to get the unhooks . Or put all 4 hooks on the back wall instead of in the middle

How many maps only have one basement? Off the top of my head, I can think of Haddonfield and The Game. Maybe there could be a way to add a second basement to those maps? I do like OP's idea, but it would suck to equip it and then roll one of the maps that does not have a second basement.

That's what i thought too, to just add a 2nd location to any map that doesn't have it.
But i have to wonder if the devs are willing to make that happen for just a Perk buff.
I imagine there'd have to be more redesigning to said maps since they didn't take into account there should now be a 2nd location at all times.
Anyway, even if it's just 1 map that has only 1 location, it'd still be unfair asf.

That's exactly why I said "If possible". Would be a sucky possible drawback to the perk if they didn't make all maps have 2 locations. (All maps without a second basement: Shelter Woods, Wrecker's yard, Rotten Fields, Haddonfield, and the Game.) Other than the game, these maps basements are somewhat centralized so a basement build can usually get them there.

I only doubt it because they changed Tinkerer just because it was extra work.
Now granted, Tinkerer would be more, constant work, but them doing it regardless of how much it takes makes me question if they'd wanna do it at all for Monstrous Shrine.

Independent of whether the devs would be receptive to the idea, I'd be all for finding a way to add 2nd basements to all those maps and then reworking Monstrous Shrine to OP's idea.
