Killers why are you offended??
A quick question for killer mains. Do you get salty/offended when survivors tbag or emote at you?? If so why do you find it annoying??
Comments

Why do you do it, if not to annoy people? This is like asking why people are upset that you flipped them off.
44 -
No, I'm not. I find their immaturity more amusing, than anything.
2 -
Used to. Now i've build resistance.
1 -
"*does a rude gesture* why are you angry? "
...Seriously?
33 -
Doesn't bother me at all, i actually find it quite funny. Not to mention that most of them end up dead.

...

Lol the answers of upset ppl here are funny

No I was it never. After my experience, the most time, survivor have it anyways use to "speak" with the killer. In a 2v1 farming match as example, or where a afk survivor is, or that I should come to give them 1 last hit before they go through the gates and so on.

You do know that actual tbagging is crouching up and down over someone's body. You cannot tbag unless your over someone otherwise it's just squatting. I just find it funny that you always see killers says that "tbagging" is toxic when in fact you can't tbag a killer you can only do it to other survivors. In other games where you can actually tbag someone on the opposite team you don't see or hear them complaining saying it's toxic but in this game people ######### and complain about it so often. It baffles me that it's just an action in a video game and people are taking it so offensively. It's not like the person has said "this is what I'm going to do to your loved ones IRL" before they do it. Like talmeer says you do it "speak" to the killer
2 -
i dont get mad. i just down them and Tbag their crawling bodies. (why i love Ghostface)
1 -
Not a "main", but honestly I tend to laugh when people tbag or emote, and I shake my head or dance (on the killers who allow it) in response. People getting offended over a game gesture should really stop taking it so seriously.
1 -
I'm not upset at all, I have a big smile on my face when they do it and I'll keep that smile on until they die right in front of me.
It's usually the Survivors that get extremly angry and insulting when they have to face the consequences for their actions lol
Sidenote: The sole purpose of teabagging/pointing is (and always has been) to taunt and provoke your opponent. Nothing but logical that it can lead to unpleasant consequences.
4 -
Are you seriously despute the connextion to survivors spamming crouch in front of killers with teabagging because survivors cannot put their balls into the killers face?
With using "crouch spam" youre still implying teabagging which implies a bad prank which juristically can count as sexual assault which originated from a method of oral sex.
Its "toxic" because its a ######### rude gesture.

Most, and I say most get caught and sacrificed anyway. Or they DC cos you finally caught them.
Either way, no better feeling on DBD than sacrificing the cocky survivor.
I enjoy a survivor bagging me at the pallet, makes the game competitive.

@BR1THD1R exactly! I think this kind of "BM" (i don't really think it's BM, that's why i use quote marks) is cool and spices up the match.

Dude? What’s BM?! =D
1 -
Idk. Immaturity from most people's part maybe?
I'm not about to get triggered at someone mashing Ctrl at me. Just like I don't have road rage or fight random people at bars. Eventually you grow and learn I guess.
2 -
Bad manners.
1 -
Gotcha!
Im not offended by it either, makes it fun.
chasing the same meg over and over can get stale. Bring on the bagging I say!
1 -
I don’t get offended.
1 -
It doesn't bother me as much anymore, but I do believe it's an incredibly cocky thing to do.
I see it as a way of saying "i'm much better than you" or "catch me if you can slow poke". Something along those lines.
In other words, t bagging/emotes are a form of taunting.
Killers can do it as well.
So your question should be why do killers AND survivors get triggered over taunts?
2 -
I’ve played a lot of games and seen a lot of teabagging but for some reason it triggers me so much more in this game lol. Especially if it’s a toxic Claudette with a flashlight. Still though I don’t get THAT upset, definitely not as upset as some killers seem to get.

If you offend someone they usually get offended. It is hard to grasp I know.
4 -
"I only mori spammed you for 2 minutes, why'd you DC?"
Annoying things tend to annoy, OP.

Why do survivors get mad at me when I occasionally, walk around and make the chainsaw noise while searching for someone?
0 -
I'm completely used to this kind of stuff at this point. Doesn't faze me in the least.

I believe people who get upset about tbagging and emotes are those who start the match with an increased heart rate. They already are nervous as hell, probably sweating in real as they're afraid of losing and then all of a sudden the nervous killer sees that "overly confident" guy who acts tough by using the "get over here!" emote like Scorpion further increasing the nervous killer's heart rate.
I suppose that's why (some) killers get upset over tbagging and emotes. It makes a game that's stressful to them even more stressful.
Personally I find nothing stressful about dbd so all of this is just a theory. I don't care about tbagging and emotes as it won't stop me from playing the game in any way whatsoever.

Considering you know how bait threads work I think it's fair to assume you know how annoying people works.
2 -
yes.
because i signed up to be a terrific monster walking through the trial, killing everything that crosses my path. i didnt sign up to be the clown at a birthdayparty of 9 year olds who do nothing but make fun of me and mock me.
if you disrespect me like that during the trial, i will make sure to end you.
depending on the levels of toxicity and my mood, this can mean anything from "i will tryhard this game" to "i will facecamp you until you freakin die".
be disrespectful to me and i shall be disrespectful to you.

It's just annoying when you're already dealing with a stressful game situation. In my experience people will do it and then immediately go down only to quit the game. Or they are already in the winning position and I'm trying to be a proper sportsman by simply conceding the game. Like, I don't know what more you need for your ego when I'm legit opening the door and letting you and your team leave. I don't like to waste time holding onto a game I can't bring back. I'd rather just take my black pip and move on.
Honestly, if you're doing all the tbagging and pointing I feel you need way more validation than I or the game can ever give you.
1 -
Yes, I do. Anyone who pretends it's not BM unless we are obviously farming is delusional. It's obvious you mean to insult and belittle me, so of course i'm going to get offended and annoyed.
2 -
Translation : I enjoy pissing people off cause i'm an #########.
3 -
Because the survivor intends that to happen.
It's like insults that are just words; there is no inherent reason why anyone should be insulted, except for the fact that an insult is what is intended. The only people who are honest when they say they aren't bothered are people who can't tell someone is intending to insult them. People manage their responses in different ways, but anyone denying they have a response is dishonest or lacks self-awareness.
3 -
As a pig main i dont get offended by it as i can slow bag them back 🐖❤️
4 -
or they can boop your snoot by pointing while close to you! :D wish that would happen more
2 -
Awww yeah ive hada few kates do that they are fearless lol

If I'm feeling really stressed, and playing killer can be really stressful (which is why I've almost completely stopped playing this game for the last month or two), then it can bug me. When you're stressed, you lose a bit of the control you normally have over what does and doesn't add to the frustration. It can't be helped.
Usually, though, no, it doesn't bug me. I take it to mean, "Look at me, I'm a distraction!" So I turn around and go back to patrolling gens, ignoring the t-bagger/emoter. I've gotten messages after the game from people I did that to, "Why didn't you chase me?! That was so boring." Those messages make me smile.

When I read some comments here, from survivors and killers, I guess I can be call myself lucky that I have stop playing after the Legion patch.
Sure, I had also meet toxic people, but the most people I had met have use that emotes to tell me something. Guess they are mostly gone now.
I have feel me in hundrets of games just 2 times "offended". In both cases I was already in a bad mood before I joined a match and in both cases, I had facecamp the guy I was angry at.
1 time, the survivor had die, 1 time he had survive it, thanks to his friends from the swf group that all rushed his hook to the same time with second chances perks :|.

No, however I WILL tunnel them.
0 -
It used to bother me when i first started playing killer. Its like, im doimg my best at rank 16 learning the ropes and spend the whole match chasing someone who tbags every pallet. Who starts to heal while i break the pallet or when im running around to get around the pallet loop. Or when they sabo the hook as im carrying a survivor and point and tbag. And then at the end i find out the guy is rank 4 playing with his friends.
To be fair it still irks me a little as im only rank 11 killer. But like others have said, when that happens depending on how bad they are acting, I'll throw the game to kill that person just because i feel like they deserve it.
Its really just a game but people do act stupid sometimes with the anonimity of the internet to buffer them from real world consequences lol
0 -
Then the survivor gets offended XD
1 -
This is pretty accurate tbh. Also why i can't really play killer, it just stresses me.
If a killer does it to me instead (hitting on hook, facecamping etc.) i don't really care. Because i don't feel stressed like when i play killer.
I do wish i could change this somehow though.
1 -
I chuckle and stab them in the back
0 -
I do the same and grunt continuously while nodding, I’ve stopped accepting it as a taunt and started to see it as they’re just celebrating winning and I nod at them to show I agree.
When I teabag back as ghostface though they just seem to get confused to be honest, like “hey you’re not supposed to join in we’re trying to taunt you” 😂. It’s usually meant as an insult but I’ve just stopped seeing it as one and not caring anymore. They won’t be so lucky to survive the next match, behind a pallet after a stun is more likely to make me enjoy slapping them into the ground at the speed of sound though. Shows them not to be so cocky when they’re not as good as they think.
I never really do it as survivor though, only time I do it is potentially to try to draw agro from an intense camper tunneler and give my teammates a chance or when the killer was toxic first (I.e. a ghostface last night teabagged me for a while after hitting me down with NOED but I managed to struggle out, escape the chase, and while he closed the hatch I opened a gate and gave him a lil teabag on the way out, he started it to be fair)

I just look at them like "you should probably be running to the next loop but ok".
I don't take anything as toxic in-game. Getting under your opponent's skin is common in any versus game. And not all tbaggers are trying to be toxic, most are actually trying to be silly, or just to get your attention away from something else. It's not a big deal.
The only real toxic stuff happens after the game in text chats.
1 -
If you teabag me and I down you and you DC...that will kind of annoy me lol cause its like....WHAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOOD AT THE GAME!
1 -
Not unless they've got the other toxic behaviors as well. (Instaheals, Instablinds, etc.)
0 -
a better question is why do you toxic ass survivors constantly stall the game? If you can exit, then ######### exit.
2 -
I'm not a killer main, but I do play killer like 40%. As a survivor I don't teabag/point, only in extreme situations if a killer camps my friend or if they nod their head at me after a decent chase, like they feel proud or something, so I teabag them in return so they won't feel that confident on themselves.
When playing as killer, if any of the survivors teabag, they are simply dead, no mr. nice killer. I don't mind someone pointing at me. But teabagging is spammed only for one reason, to annoy the killer, while teabagging doesn't really annoy me, I will tunnel them to teach them a lesson for their future matches.
I like the teabaggers that are injured on their last hook, though, they know they can't escape so they teabag at you. xD
1 -
It's annoying when they teabag all match and then expect a gg in end game chat.
