In Purple, Green, and Brown, LF is a force to be reckoned with, and people seriously underestimate him. Obviously this has nothing to do with red ranks, because we know the only competitive killers are Nurse, Billy, and Spirit, so let's get that out of the way. But for anything else outside of Red, Bubba is a freight train. I've been putting in serious constant 4Ks with him. Way more than I accomplish with Doctor, or Hag. All you have to do is equip add ons to reduce chainsaw charge time and you're solid. Even the brown spark plug is a decent add on. I believe Bubba is misunderstood and with the right perks he's actually pretty damn solid. I've been running Overcharge, BBQ, M&A, Sloppy Butcher

    My friend has been having a lot of fun playing as Leatherface in the brown ranks. He just goes to town with the chainsaw, and if the survivors start to get cocky thinking, "Oh, he's only using his chainsaw," he immediately M1s them. But he loves the instadown and he's had some great moments chainsawing multiple survivors at once. He'll just be having fun and suddenly four survivors are all on the ground because they did something stupid.

    I suppose you can make the argument that LF is somewhat effective against inept survivors.

    I main LF at red ranks, at base I can agree he was is really weak but with add ons he is deadly.(if you are good at chainsawing in tight areas)

    I love leatherface for some reason, but lets face it, he is trash. Without addons he is a bad joke, with his best addons still worse then most other killers without addons.

    Make tuning guide and Beastmarks standard on him, and he might become a decent killer.

    The problem with LF as you get past rank 12 isn't that he is super weak, it's that he isn't Billy. He has only one advantage over Billy and to get that advantage you need to either insidious camp or get a bunch of idiots.

    The only decent LF is the one with beast marks/carburettor/grease, other than that LF is only good against bad survivors.

    Basic LF against good survivors is just a bad M1 killer.

    Hopefully when the Devs do their upcoming review of the chainsaw guys they will look at tweaks that can give Leather face a reason to play over billy. Faster chainsaw start and recovery compared to billy would be nice so he can be more effective in different situations.
